Anyone having problem with the new Astro payment portal? Failed transaction using CC (visa/mc).

i was about to ask whether anyone here manage to pay using AMEX
got amex logo but no drop down box for amex

i tried using the ... but it doesn't work..so i tried using visa, also failed transaction

visa/mastercard working like charm for me paying astro bill

my master also working with MSOS
maybe you can retry Human Nature

there is still a floating amount with my card, i will wait for a couple of days to see if the previous one went through or not

Bro, that was when VI was first introduced and they gave me cash reward if not mistaken. Now so many people hold the Maybank 2 Cards Premier, I guess I no longer in Top Spender Category, hahaha. But Maybank did recently once again wanted to invite me to play golf.... but I don't play golf.

My apologies if my question has been asked before. I've tried a random search, but could not find anything similar to this.

Recently, I received a call from an agent claiming to be from a "credit card easy payment center". She explained that she can help me with a plan, to reduce my interest payment to the banks. For example, if I am owing RM30,000 in credit card bills to cimb and mbb and am currently paying RM1,500 (min 5%) to the banks, she can help me consolidate this RM30,000 debt into a single payment of only RM950 per month for 4 years. When I tried asking over the phone for more info, she instead suggest to meet up.

Has anyone encountered this before? Advisable to commence a meet up?

Recently with no gst... looks worth to get more card to use and activate and get freebies..
I had so far pledge fd for maybank n hong leong bank for credit card.. both of the bank charge me rm10 for stamping.

so lately got public bank promo.. free phone n watch n so on..

So i went to get freebies again by placing some fd to get card again..

to my shock.. public bank say the fee is not rm10 stamping.. it is 5% of the total limit..
if u want place 10k, then charge 5% as stamp duty, which is rm50 and on top of that, need to make a banker cheque for dunno wad reason and charge rm5.xx

I was like... waddaffffd ????

Can share my experience with you. Last year, my initial application for PBB VS is unsuccessful. Tried appeal thru my cousin , a branch manager and offered him to pledge if my appeal is overruled. He say he try his best to recommend but in case I really need to pledge, it will be 0.5% of my FD value. Luckily, my appeal was upheld and do not need to pledge.

for pbb it's 0.5% of fd value. or they called it rm5 for every 1k fd.

bro.. it is not about 0.5% of FD value that matters..

it is the processing..

lets say i want to pledge for PBB VS.. minimum is 35k..

so in order to get this card to FD pledge.. i need to pledge 35k.. let's say i pledge 40k for easy counting.

So the stamp duty for the 40k pledge will be 5% of the value.

40k x 5% = RM200

means i need to pay rm200, in order to pledge 40k FD to get the PBB VS with a 40k credit limit.

Other bank is RM10.. while PBB use 5% on the credit limit applied for..
