Hello.
I just received my very first statement for Maybank AMEX, however I didn't see any rebate (debit) in the statement even I had performed transactions which fell on weekend?
I don't have this problem with OCBC & UOB which they will credit back the cash rebate under the same month statement.

Guys just to confirm do we pay the outstanding balance or statement balance? I'm quite confused...I usually just hit the pay now button and put the max value balance in. Just checked my hardcopy statement and it's the lower amount..
Thanks!!

Usually paid on statement date, which is the date each month of your statement being generated. But, you can pay the outstanding balance as well, statement balance is good to be settle for every month, not encourage to pay on minimum payment.

Thanks!! if you dont have time to monitor your expenses and card usage, just pay the outstanding balance everytime after you use your card.. if you are a wise card credit user, you should already know that you have to pay statement balance before the payment date which is 20 days after the statement date..

I pay it on time each month. Every 14-16th of the month..which is when my statement is sent. What's the difference between the two? And I don't wanna pay min..I rather pay it all out.

The due amount is not 5% rebate deductible, how come? You'll get your rebate in February 2014. Cash rebate pay out is based on calendar month and usually will be credited into your card by 1st to 2nd of the month. Read 1st post for more details.
