although you have link AMEX to paypal, some website still dont accept AMEX through paypal.. that's why it is not appear on some website.. when there is no option, that means no attempt.. so CS cannot see and say anything when there is no attempt to use the card.. however you can topup paypal first using AMEX, then pay directly using paypal..

it's not a big deal if my AMEX is not accepted for some merchant, just use another card visa or mastercard

i believe if you have AMEX you have another card too be it visa/mc/others

collect 5x point/TP rewards? it's not exclusive.. just a complimentary from bank afterall CC is just a facility.. don't go die die want to use AMEX even the merchant said don't accept because they surely have reason too.

When you applied for AMEX, you have some mind that not all merchants accept AMEX as AMEX is not widely accepted.

Priority to use should be AMEX for some cardholders here.

Even after you link your Amex to PayPal, but if the merchant is charging you in RM, you can only pay with either Visa or Master that is linked to your PayPal. Only foreign currencies can be charged with amex through PayPal.

I believe when you make the payment for gsc, there is a note says that amex is not chargeable fot RM.

you collected only but didn't inform to activate ? u can just give a call to CS or use online banking to activate the card then

i received sms for 2 transactions at google checkout seller for usd 1 and usd 4.51
any of u any idea what this is
call sc and they told me it is not a fraud

and i never register my amex for any google account

How can it not be an unauthorized transaction if you did not perform it? Call Customer Service again and report that you did not use you card for any transactions as per the sms received.

Yes, quickly file a dispute on those transactions if you did not perform them.

lol. as far as possible surely wanna try to use AMEX. but if they don't accept obviously we cannot force them la. i dunno about others, but for me personally, i chose this card cus of the 'complimentary' 5x TP

If it is floating, then maybe nothing to dispute if the transactions are posted. But still odd that they did not suspend your card. Better keep track on the transactions bro.

The last time I had an unauthorized transactions, immediately MBB CS suspended my AMEX card, click here to read about it in my article A Little Bit of This and A Little Bit of That AGAIN. In this article I also mentioned how I had to go about paying my AMEX bill with M2U because once my account was suspended, the account no longer shows in my M2U!

cs told me there is no need to suspend the card for the time being
they also have no power to block the transaction
i need to wait for the transactions to appear in my statement only then i can file a dispute

i happened to gave my card to secret recipe's waiter this evening
