Then what chips are on Team value ram newest batch? because there is someone selling team value ram and claim that there is micron chips on it.

Any seller that you found saying that Team Valueram DDR2 PC2-5300 667MHz 1GB uses Micron chipsets is a big liar.
Show us who's that guy and more preferable with link.

Liar.
Me and soulfly already told him not to confuse people about the ram that he's selling uses Micron D9DCN.

Snyy, the earlier batch overclocks well, as in the earlier batch Team Valueram DDR2 PC2-5300 667MHz uses ProMOS chipset.
But the latest batch no longer uses ProMOS chipset.
I bought two stick for my own use directly from my supplier, tested, and it doesn't overclock well enough.

Dude, if you really want to overclock your ram, perhaps you should dig deeper in your pocket and get the rams that is built for overclocking.

Example:
Team Xtreem Dark or Team Xtreem [Any speed]
Crucial 10th Annivessary DDR2 PC2-5300 667MHz 1GB
Crucial Ballistix or Crucial Ballistix Tracer [Any speed]

And some other specific model from some other brand. smile.gif

ProMOS has the capability to reach high speed of 1000MHz at a very very high timings which is bad.

While Micron D9GCT/D9GMH/D9GKX, it has the capability of reaching high speed but on very low timings which is why they were voted as the best 3 chipset for DDR2. smile.gif

And also, tell zhen^whei about this, who told him that Micron D9DCN has the capability of reaching 1000MHz?
Micron D9DCN is a really really bad overclocker.
No overclocker uses Micron D9DCN for their system.

It depends on how much vdimm you dare to put lor laugh.gif icon_rolleyes.gif
I think 500 w CAS5 should not be a problem.
Depend on your luck tongue.gif

And bro, your rams are not running in dual mode. Suspect plug in wrong ram slot for dual ram combination.

He's using Corsair XMS2, and yours is Kingston Valuerams.
What's there to cry about?

Both of them is the same.
Corsair XMS2 Twinx is nothing but a Corsair Valueram with heatspreader.

Honestly, there's nothing to cry about. smile.gif

That's because Corsair love to suck people's blood.

Do you see any extreme overclocker uses Corsair rams for their system? rolleyes.gif

what should i do now?? would it help if i increase the voltage to 2.1v??
