QUOTE(betaiso @ Oct 22 2007, 01:53 AM) ok, by the way, is the DDR2 667 designed run 1:1 in sync of memory with bus speed? no 1:1 , 1:1 only available on intel platfom AMD is CPU/RAM 667 devider 667/2 = 333.33 example 2000/333.33= 6 (6) ram mutiple 2000/6 = 333.33 , so ur ram run full speed let said ur proc is 2600mhz 2600/333.33 = 7.8 (8) ram mutiple 2600/7 = 325 , ur ram running at 325MHz , but doesn't affect alot performance , human eye can see the effect .. If ur ram is 800+Mhz DDR2 while ur FSB is only 333 how?... cuz im setting 533Mhz to get 1:1 FSB:DRAM ratio..

Yes...AMD HTT and ram speed is different from Intel. Please refer to the AM2 overclocking thread. There is a table to clear your confusion -pWs-

QUOTE(Snyy @ Oct 26 2007, 12:08 PM) what micron chips are on 1GB Team Group DDR667 Value RAM? No team valueram uses Micron chips nowadays. It have been replaced with other chipsets. From my test of a new unit 1GB Team Valueram which is from the newest batch, and what i can say is that it's not really overclockable. If you're lucky, you might get those old batches that uses ProMOS chipset which is considered as overclockable, but still can't fight with any Micron D9GMH / D9GKX / D9GCT chips.
