QUOTE(v1rtual @ Oct 27 2007, 06:38 PM) i see, most overclockers use crucial nowadays which bro sHawTY selling at a good price too bad, i dont have the extra money to get a better performance ram btw, now after a few hours running my system with 4-4-4-12 @ 2v the prime95 shows that there is hardware failure what should i do now?? would it help if i increase the voltage to 2.1v?? prime usually test both proc n also ram.. try to use the memtest first.. dun add anything..

QUOTE(v1rtual @ Oct 27 2007, 03:41 AM) im using kingston value ram 1GBX2 DDR2 800Mhz oc to 860Mhz currently i set the timing to 4,4,4,12 with 2V, so far running prime 95 for 1 hour no problem any of you guys experienced this ram before?? just wanna know how far can the ram go [attachmentid=318596] i see u try to tight the timing.. try to loose it if u want to use low in voltage.. since u takut will burn ur ram.. but remember it will cause u lost in bechmark

i heard corsair ram can run @ low timing with high clock... but no point having it higher than your fsb... for 1:1 ratio ...

If I were you, I would rather go buy a pair of Crucial Ballistix, then sell off the XMS2... If you want to use both crucial and corsair together, there might be some incompatible issue will happen. Then, you may not able to OC higher with two different chipset of RAM.
