then i oc to 860Mhz 4-4-4-12 @ 2v
sorry if i got it wrong sad.gif
but yours is corsair rite??
mine is kingston value ram only cry.gif
so the only choice to know how far can the ram go is by keep testing it guys??

500mhz is the fsb speed
urs is ddr800, which mean 400mhz, and 500mhz is ddr1000
hope that helps

i see, most overclockers use crucial nowadays laugh.gif which bro sHawTY selling at a good price rclxms.gif
too bad, i dont have the extra money to get a better performance ram sweat.gif

btw, now after a few hours running my system with 4-4-4-12 @ 2v the prime95 shows that there is hardware failure
what should i do now?? would it help if i increase the voltage to 2.1v??

prime usually test both proc n also ram.. try to use the memtest first.. dun add anything..

im using kingston value ram 1GBX2 DDR2 800Mhz oc to 860Mhz
currently i set the timing to 4,4,4,12 with 2V, so far running prime 95 for 1 hour no problem
any of you guys experienced this ram before??
just wanna know how far can the ram go
[attachmentid=318596]

i see u try to tight the timing.. try to loose it if u want to use low in voltage.. since u takut will burn ur ram..
but remember it will cause u lost in bechmark

Not true.
Other brands can do a lot better than Corsair.

If I were you, I would rather go buy a pair of Crucial Ballistix, then sell off the XMS2... If you want to use both crucial and corsair together, there might be some incompatible issue will happen. Then, you may not able to OC higher with two different chipset of RAM.
