QUOTE(bearbear @ Mar 25 2014, 11:52 PM) mbb 2 kard amex weekdays 5 TP, weekend 5 TP + 5% rebate, unless you tell me your petrol station doesn't accept amex. me here only gt petronas n shell, no sure if can use amex. but most shop wont accept.we can only suggest and usually you want cash back means you need to meet certain criteria so its all up to you. Only other card which is less hassle is Aeon Watami but you need to accumulate RM3k spending within 3 months to entitle for 3% rebate. QUOTE(Wongchoy @ Mar 26 2014, 01:59 AM) You may try to develop this spending habit lar nice calculation, petrol i pump every weekPetrol once a week RM75 = 4 transactions Grocery once a week RM 150 and try to split bills = min.4 transactions Mobile RM200 = 2 transactions This way, you have just earned RM100 of easy money from your 10 transactions of RM 1100 if groceries need to split also ok la, but prefer but 1 time cos lazy always go shop, the more offen u go the more u spend btw, when to ambank 2day, one of the officer i know also ask me sign up for ambank carz card. 3% petrol rebate and 2% if pay full amount, i calculate seems like no so good, but the officer keep pushing me. haiz maybe no choice hav to sign lo. she told me is free annual fee, rm50 gst can be waive if u spend rm350 in 2month and they will rebate rm50 for u. dono true o nt, she say only applicable for new ambank card holder |

Hello, I need some recommendation on credit card:
1. Monthly Income: 4K++ 2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: must with swipe 3. Card required for: Mainly petrol. I use Petron regularly 4. Existing credit cards if any: HSBC, but i haven't activate it because I dont like the fact that only have 5% rebates on weekends and only selected petrol stations and Petron not included. 5. Looking at CC from: UOB? 6. Others: Looking for cashback reward. Not keen on points. I dont regularly use credit card except for petrol. Light user. Maybe going to spend less than RM300 per month on my card. I dont do groceries. I don't dine out, I dont watch movies. Annual fee waive is a must. If possible also waive RM50 govt tax. any recomendation? If any agent here, please PM me.. thanks. |

If you spend above RM500/month on petrol / mobile /utility bills / grocery / dining, HLB wise - 10% rebate with minimum 10 x Rm50 swipes a month, capped at Rm100 cash back. note you choose only 2 category + mobile and you need to pay for annual fee (Gold Rm160?).
Maybank2Kard Amex is the other option, google for details. This post has been edited by bearbear: Apr 3 2014, 11:51 AM |

QUOTE(slashlink @ Apr 3 2014, 10:33 AM) Hello, I need some recommendation on credit card: nowadays uob one card is not a good choice anymore. their cb allocation of 900k is finished by the second week of the month due to too many users (confirmed by uob cs). means you get 0% cb on 3rd week onwards.1. Hi all, Im looking for a good cashback card, any suggestion would be good for me
1. Annual Income: RM36K to RM60K 2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must. 3. Card required for: Cashback. Petrol, Groceries and Auto-billing (insurances, internet, mobile, electricity and water). 4. Existing credit cards if any: OCBC Titanium Card - unlimited cap of 1% cashback for all expenditures on the cc 5. Looking at CC from: Any as long as gives me the best cashback. Looking at HSBC Amanah M Power, Maybank 2 Cards and UOB One Card. Hong Leong Wise seems to be tedious for me as it requires RM50 x 10 transactions per month. 6. Others: Looking for another cashback card to pair with the OCBC Titanium on my monthly expenses. This post has been edited by S-Y-H: Apr 5 2014, 11:43 PM |

The best combination for cash-back CCs IMHO :
1. HLB wise gold -> spend monthly ~ RM1000 only for ur choices of categories for RM100 CR 2. MBK 2 AMEX Platinum -> use this to spend the rest but ~ RM1000 must be on weekend to gain RM50 CR |
