Hi, I'm looking for a good cash rebate card with free annual fee... currently using Citibank Cash back and OCBC titanium. But gonna cancel my citibank since they don't allow me to waive the annual fee. OCBC now offer only 1% rebate instead of 5%.

I usually use my card for petrol, phone bill, and dining... any recommendation? Thanks!

you could go for maybank2 gold or platinum cards

that's y until now I am still reluctant to get this card as my OCBC Ti replacement, it is a bit difficult for me to maintain the 10x usage frequency and the AF is not waive able
*
if you spend less than rm 500/month then it will be a lil hard

well it is not the matter of spend less than 500 is more like matter of going through the trouble of asking the sales person break the single transaction into multiple swipe. Most of the time u have to beg them and yet they are showing you some face color due to making their life difficult
*
that's why if you ask me best is to choose petrol/mobile/utilities so that you can break it down without troubling others

*

hmm i think if you use your card strictly for online shopping than UOB Vox would be better than CIMB Platinum

OIC, you applied online, I am surprised it is still not in their system. But since you do go to the movies every week, worthwhile to wait and even resubmit the necessary documents if so required.

If not mistaken, only Premier cards like Visa Signature or World MasterCard/Visa Infinite can be issued "on the spot" at Sunway. And since I am a nice guy, I am going to give you link to my article created to cater for your request tongue.gif

Click here to read my article One Day Approval for CIMB Premier Credit Cards and Maybaybank 2 Cards.. In this previous article, you will find CIMB Card Centre at Pyramid and Maybankard Centre at 1U contact numbers. Call the CIMB Sunway Centre for more info and go early to 1U to apply for the Maybankard 2 Cards where you will get the cards in 2 hours or less (call them and ask what docs they need).
*
go on weekdays to Maybankard Centres as you won't be able to get the cards on weekends.

1. Annual Income: RM36K to RM60K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must

3. Card required for: Petrol (Shell to be specific), Shopping, Dining, Cash Back (If Possible)

4. Existing credit cards if any: Maybank2Card

5. Looking at CC from: Citibank or Suggest me one.

6. Others: Most Benefits Cards is good for me.

Thanks for people who answered.

since you were using your ocbc each time you amex got rejected i think you have some idea and can calculate if you can hit the 3k every quarter, anyway this is a good card too when you have maxed out your amex rebate
((3% better than 2%(5xTP))

nice calculation, petrol i pump every week
if groceries need to split also ok la, but prefer but 1 time cos lazy always go shop, the more offen u go the more u spend
btw, when to ambank 2day, one of the officer i know also ask me sign up for ambank carz card. 3% petrol rebate and 2% if pay full amount, i calculate seems like no so good, but the officer keep pushing me. haiz maybe no choice hav to sign lo.

she told me is free annual fee, rm50 gst can be waive if u spend rm350 in 2month and they will rebate rm50 for u. dono true o nt, she say only applicable for new ambank card holder

Hi all, Im looking for a good cashback card, any suggestion would be good for me  biggrin.gif

1. Annual Income: RM36K to RM60K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must.

3. Card required for: Cashback. Petrol, Groceries and Auto-billing (insurances, internet, mobile, electricity and water).

4. Existing credit cards if any: OCBC Titanium Card - unlimited cap of 1% cashback for all expenditures on the cc

5. Looking at CC from: Any as long as gives me the best cashback. Looking at HSBC Amanah M Power, Maybank 2 Cards and UOB One Card. Hong Leong Wise seems to be tedious for me as it requires RM50 x 10 transactions per month.

6. Others: Looking for another cashback card to pair with the OCBC Titanium on my monthly expenses.
*
i would recommended hlb wise for your petrol, groceries & mobile (petrol you could pump about RM 50 many times at the terminal & mobile you could pay RM 50 online multiple times with maxis as well) but since you mentioned it's tedious you could go with maybank2 cards & aeon watami

I have looked at that too... but the 'minimum 10 retail transaction in one month and minimum RM50 per transaction' is a turn off.  But thanks for the feedback smile.gif
*
can be easily done with petrol and mobile/utilites category

4. Existing credit cards if any: Maybank2kard

5. Looking at CC from: preferable banks which are recognized in overseas?

6. Others: I am using maybank 2 card, but recently kinda get frustrated over the fact the cashback only available on weekend, and many people aren't accepting amex sweat.gif

Looking to switch to other cc for better cash back opportunity.
*
go for aeon watami at places doesn't accept amex but take note for the 3% quarterly cash back u need to spend min 3k in 3 months
