As long as your gross salary is RM 3k and above, you can have cards from more than 2 banks.
It doesn't mean your basic, can add in fixed allowances as well. Non-fixed allowances will be difficult.

1. Annual Income: 100K? (No idea how they calculate annual income for business owner)

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Preferbly

3. Card required for: Utility bills, Groceries, Petrol, Insurance, Overseas Transactions, Free Lounge Access

4. Existing credit cards if any: None

5. Looking at CC from: Any (Currently had my eyes on OCBC or MBB2cards)

6. Others: Utility bills payment are kind of heavy. Per month astro is 500, TNB about 2k, Syabas 400, Telekom 400. Groceries if they'd take NSK Trade City as groceries, occasionally I can swipe up for 1k per month there.

I've even give thought to owning HLB wise for the 10% rebate then another card for the rest. Only issue is that I'm afraid I can't make up to 10 transactions per month. Usually just a few high amount of transaction.

Maximum cash back per month for WISE card is RM 100 per month ...

To fulfilled the criteria of maximum swiping of rm 50 minimum for 10 times ....

Normally you can choose to pay let say your TNB bill for RM 100 for 10 times through the internet payment using the CC ...

U will be able to save some money there ... annually will be able to save maximum RM 1200

1. Annual Income: RM30K - RM36K (will increase to RM60k - 100k in April next year)

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Yes

3. Card required for: Petrol (~RM250), Groceries (~RM400), Utilities (~RM150), Online shopping (sometimes)

4. Existing credit cards if any: Nil

5. Looking at CC from: Maybank 2 cards

6. Others: Using debit card now (PBD2D for cashback), but I would like to improve my credit ratings for a housing loan in the future. Plus, I might use ezypay for lasik procedure. It's just too expensive to pay in full amount. Was looking at MBB2card but noticed that gst went up to RM100. Is it still worth it, or is there a better card? Considered HLB wise too, but I do my groceries in bulk (RM200 x 2 times per month), so it'll be hard to swipe 10 times in a month. And my annual income will increase next year, so should I wait for it or just get the card now?

p/s: Btw, I'll be living in Kuantan next year, so how good will amex be outside klang valley? Main concern is shell petrol station. I know most shell accept amex in klang valley, but what about other areas? Thanks!
