So I just went for my 1000km service at COSE. I can say I much prefer COSE, compared to the "outside" service centers. The one I went a few weeks ago to check the "helicopter sound" just grinded it a bit, but the sound was still there. COSE went ahead and changed the damned thing. So that was good.
COSE remapped my ECU, reset the braking system, and suddenly my CVT is much more responsive and a sweeter drive. Sure, it'll never be like a CFE in terms of acceleration but I think that's fine. Responsive, not sluggish anymore, and etc. Oh, and I know there are people who have said that COSE only allow you to use the semi-synthetic oil... nope. I chose to use the fully synthetic one, and they were okay with it. Even gave me a free gift that comes with the oil (15 piece cutlery set, of all things!) Only wish the reverse sensor would start beeping from a bit further - I think now it only starts like 1-2meters away. Is that normal? This post has been edited by Kiffer: Jan 13 2014, 04:27 PM |

QUOTE(mengsuan @ Jan 13 2014, 05:40 PM) Look still reasonable ..... Once changed to leather seat the whole car feel totally changed alot. Now I am cracking head which colour to go for ..... Preve's most colour does not look nice to me.. Fire Red - Seasoned colour, does look a bit "old" after sometimes Silver - Uncle colour but easily to take care White & Black - Too hard to take care, scare after 2-3 years down the road hilang semangat then even the uncle's Silver may look better Lilac - Out of the question How nice if it has Suprima's atlantic blue |

QUOTE(davidlow7 @ Jan 13 2014, 06:13 PM) Look still reasonable ..... Once changed to leather seat the whole car feel totally changed alot. Get solid white + R3 body kits + R3 sports rim + leather seat. And you'll get a Preve LE even you can't get your hand on one. (which I'm very tempted to do) Now I am cracking head which colour to go for ..... Preve's most colour does not look nice to me.. Can I add reverse camera and tweeter to the HU by simply plugin or rewiring is needed? 2. The empty button slot next to the push start button is for headlamps levelling switch right? Does the ori headlamps comes with levelling motor and wiring so that I can simply buy a switch to plug in? 3. RM1500 for R3 body kit including installation+labour charges? Or any nice looking body kit recommendation? 4. My SA told me I can wrap leather seat/trim but will this affect the side airbags functionality? if some wants to replace the fabric to leather for seats, make sure its on pro shop cuz on cfe, there is side airbag,n 4 ancap version, both iafm n cfe equip with side airbags. quite dangerous if done in normal leather shop that incompetent enough to install it.
n please dont use plug n play pu or pvc wrapping for front seat, dangerous if side airbags deploy. |

Btw, does anyone know what the ACTUAL pressure for the tyres should be? I've not filled up the tires ever since I got the car a few weeks ago. I know the recommended says about 220 for front tires, but when I went to fill up earlier today, I noticed that the pressure currently in the the tire was closer to 280 for the front. Means it was like this since I got the car. Anyone know? |

QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Jan 14 2014, 06:12 PM) Just to add, proper tyre maintenance is to watch the load and your speed I seriously dun agree adding additional 3 to 4 PSI to the tyre pressure~~that is some serious over inflattion..danger when driving in wet or high speed condition as the grip is lost~~ the theory is that if u under inflate your tyre it will become so gripy that it results in slower car and waste fuel consumption...but if you over inflate it~~the tyre will not be in full contact of the surface and you have lost grip~~which it will also affect in Fuel Consumption AND will result in dangerous driving condition..again especially in wet or high speed condition~~ check out you tube for the "mythbuster series" they have tried all 3 conditions and concluded the above statement~~ the optimum pressure when cold is 220kPa (around 31 psi??) for the front and 210kPa (around 30 psi??) for the rear~~refer to page 166 of your manual [english] it is CLEARLY stated there~~ therefore if u pump with hot tyre it should be fine for you to add 5~10kPa for both front and back.. oh ya for the new cars...please make sure you check your tyre pressure...as they are not sure how long the car will stay in their storage..to avoid flat tyre..the manufacturer normally will inject more air inside...go ahead and try adjust the pressure to the optimum level...you will then feel the true power and stability This post has been edited by terryble: Jan 14 2014, 09:18 PM |

You have to compensate the tire pressure when you carry heavy load. Some manufacturers explicitly recommend doing so on their car's tire pressure chart. the load of extra weight is more likely to be absorb by an ABSORBER rather than the tyre~~ why put yourself in danger dude....no offence~~ ![]() This post has been edited by dares: Jan 14 2014, 09:43 PM |
