So I just went for my 1000km service at COSE. I can say I much prefer COSE, compared to the "outside" service centers. The one I went a few weeks ago to check the "helicopter sound" just grinded it a bit, but the sound was still there. COSE went ahead and changed the damned thing. So that was good.
COSE remapped my ECU, reset the braking system, and suddenly my CVT is much more responsive and a sweeter drive. Sure, it'll never be like a CFE in terms of acceleration but I think that's fine. Responsive, not sluggish anymore, and etc. Oh, and I know there are people who have said that COSE only allow you to use the semi-synthetic oil... nope. I chose to use the fully synthetic one, and they were okay with it. Even gave me a free gift that comes with the oil (15 piece cutlery set, of all things!) Only wish the reverse sensor would start beeping from a bit further - I think now it only starts like 1-2meters away. Is that normal? This post has been edited by Kiffer: Jan 13 2014, 04:27 PM |

QUOTE(HeReLiSm @ Jan 13 2014, 04:42 PM) that's pretty good, complete with free gift They would have taken about an hour or so for a normal 1000km service, they said, but as they were also addressing my other concerns, it all took about 6 hours.so did you made appointment with them before sending your car? how long did they take for 1k service? Btw, does anyone know what the ACTUAL pressure for the tyres should be? I've not filled up the tires ever since I got the car a few weeks ago. I know the recommended says about 220 for front tires, but when I went to fill up earlier today, I noticed that the pressure currently in the the tire was closer to 280 for the front. Means it was like this since I got the car. Anyone know? |

Thanks for the reply regarding the tyre pressure, guys! Just came on and read it. I'd better go release some of that pressure now!
