Damned this was exactly what i was looking for today for my RTN12HP router...  rclxms.gif

It worked damned well

Would the Google DNS set in WAN DNS Setting be affected/override by IPv6 settings?
*
I think it will be affected.

You can also set the Google DNS for IPv6. Choose disable for the IPv6 DNS setting in your router and then you can set it manually.

Google DNS:

2001:4860:4860::8888
2001:4860:4860::8844

for asuswrt ipv6 setting,
Connect to DNS Server automatically: disable
IPv6 DNS Server 1: 2001:4860:4860::8888

however, i noticed this setting is not propagated to ipv6 clients.

Ipv6 dns resolution is via ipv4

Hi guys, I just installed UniFi here and I'm not sure how to configure for iPv6 for my TP-Link C5 router.

What should I select for:

1. "WAN Connection Type"
2. "Get IPv6 Address Way"?

Could anyone please shed some light on my question. Will IPv6 help reduce latency for gaming especially gaming server hosted in other countries?

Much appreciated.

In general = No. Because latency is determined by routing (distance).

Most of those gaming servers doesn't support IPv6 in first place. Example, Steam.
Next, current IPv6 implementation has different routing than IPv4.
Technically, IPv6 packet is 'shorter' and more efficient than IPv4, but it doesn't affect latency (only affect bandwidth by slight margin)
