I had the same problem too when I tried out various Tomato builds. Native IPv6 doesn't seem to work (at least for me).

The reason why Facebook/Youtube can be slow when IPv6 is enabled is because the MTU is too high. I use the MTU of 1280 in ND setting so that those websites will be easily accessible, plus solve the problem where some Android devices. 1452 is definitely not low enough for all devices.

I'm not familiar with TomatoUSB, but you can try changing that value.

may i ask how you find the proper value for ipv6 MTU?

i know for ipv4 we can ping its fragment to get desired results e.g
ping -f -l 1472 google.com

until you get the results without 'Packet needs to be fragmented but DF set.'
how about ipv6 maybe you can share?

did you test for wow yet ? Cause that game confirm has ipv6 servers

hopefully more game servers also have native ipv6 and hopefully then can see the latency benefit of ipv6 hopefully.
diablo 3 is still ipv4 (when connected, the d4 ip is ipv4). latency to us is 203 ish.... to the aus server 60 ish or so.

Didn't compare between ipv4 and ipv6 unifi so can't really post that result 
By the way is anyone using tomato firmware ? Does the latest shibby/raf/toastman support unifi ipv6 now ? or still have to use hack to set the ipv6 mtu still ? 

everytime i boot up my router, i have to manually enter via ssh putty to the router to set the ipv6 mtu.

And after 10-30minutes then the ipv6 start to register.

If i don't do that ipv6 won't work.
So i take it you don't need to do any weird setup ? your router confirm will get ipv6 ? 
But then again, did you confirm this using the online checker on google ipv6 to confirm ? Also sounds like your mtu is too high so youtube is suffering, did you try lower a bit

i'm using an older raf firmware.

changing the mtu in the gui interface wasn't what changed the ipv6 mtu apparently. not sure if it was a gui setting they forgot to add, or a bug. so anyhow, we figured had to set it manually via ssh putty 

I've updated my router firmware. confirmed ipv6 works on shibby Tomato v1.28.0000 MIPSR2-123 K26 USB AIO
however.... i still had to use the old trick to get ipv6 to work.

Modem - Huawei HG8240w Echolife
Wireless Router - RT-N66U
Current firmware 378.54_2 Asuswrt-Merlin

Looking to upgrade firmware to DD-WRT,

Have tried flashing it but can't seem to get the settings right.
