when i try to input via handwriting...the one with the grid line..
it does not auto detect and correct like last time

when i use the S pen with that tiny pen symbol, it works

talk nicely to the CS. i think they will be happy to serve you better if you speak politely also. no harm for a try right? tell them also how inconvenience for you to drop over + you are samsung fan since how long + u love note3 so much + what ever reason you can give

I will be going to Maxis KLCC again later, and this time I think I won't be so kind to them cause my number swapping process STILL NOT YET completed...

And they didn't bother to call back / reply my sms...

Sigh, going to waste my time and parking $$$ again...

i think you go there or make a phone complaint they still process in same speed... i rather call their CS ask for case ID for follow up. anyway, if you goto KLCC . still, ask them gv you a case ID for keep track....

Here to report that today is Day No. 6 of using my Note III and happy to note that my White Note III back cover is still pristine. Probably it is just very hard durable plastic like what Samsung did for the Galaxy Nexus White which was still in perfect condition (no turning yellow colour or stains) after 1 year + of using it previously. No regret at all getting white so far. Let's hope this lasts. tongue.gif

I am very curious and jealous on some of the members' SOT which can reached ard 4 to 5 hours. Is 3g on all the time?

Mine, from 7am to 6pm 3g on only manage to give me 2 1/2 hours SOT, the most. Only using for whatsapping, a few calls.

I am not into doing all kind of stuff to save battery as I belief the phone should serve me but not otherwise. But i am just curious. 4 hrs vs 2 1/2 hrs!

Can someone enlighthen me?

Will grab an extra battery and charging dock once its available in Samsung Strore.

This is where I make my mistake, cause I thought it should be sufficient since I already have the contact number of the senior office who in charge my case. But turns out I have to visit them one more time...

Anyway, I can bring my family together, let them go for some shopping while I handle my issue with maxis...

just shooting here, but maybe you can try to clear the data cache of Samsung keyboard.

I feel that this first release firware is a bit rush, come across quite a few of niggly bugs like developer option not sticking, lost the ringtone list, not recognising my custom ringtones etc. sometimes clearing the data helps.

That's why you should never bother about SOT reports from user-to-user as there is just too many variables.

If you want a better comparison, check GSMArena's battery rating which uses controlled variables for testing and is a more reliable source of reference.

Yes, I have to agree. The firmware for Note III (maybe due to Android OS 4.3) is not refined and many minor bugs experienced by me and those around me who are using Note III as well. Those that complain that they did not see any bugs maybe are not using the phone as heavily as we do, or maybe they don't mind the minor bugs.
