Well you can do that with custom launcher, eg. Apex Launcher. Tested with mine before and it works without root.

But.... I superb anti Screen Protector! Unless a must, else I won't apply. So far only Sony product I need to apply due to Sony attached a superb easier scratch Shattered Proof Sheet.

Same observation as I have. Yes, the Note 2 sound has more body and fuller using the same headphone, player and MP3. Deeper base too. I was actually hesitant to think that what I'm hearing out of the Note 3 in comparison to Note 2 is true but I guess after reading claims here posting the same conclusion, there must be some truth in it. Perhaps like you said, it needs more time to burn in. Hopefully it gets better over time.

I think you mistook the flaring issue of the original flip cases of the Note 1 and Note 2. While not up to the standard of the likes of Zenus cases, the Note 2 original flip case was far better than Note 1 which had the edges of the cover flaring problem from the onset. I still have both original flip cases on the Note 1 and Note 2 respectively and the Note 2 flip case is as new as when I got it.

The chiplak flip cover for Note 3 that I got for RM 60 (an interim while waiting for the S Cover or the one that supports wireless charging) imitates the Note 2 design and is also very good from what I see. My wifey still thinks it's a Note 2 from afar because of the cover. But if she looks closely enough, she will notice the Note 3 word is on the front cover.

If you enabled camera upload to sync with your Google or Dropbox, that would explain it.

Stupid me. My Nova Launcher has that activated from the first day.
I'm using black wallpaper so didn't notice it, just switched to blue wallpaper and yeah saw the transparency.
In fact I was using the blue wallpaper for days.

I used to dislike flip covers because in those days, flip covers means that I have to unflip to answer calls and the worse part is I have to hold the phone to the ear with the flip cover open. Very unsightly.

That's why when the original Samsung flip covers came out with the cut-out holes for the speakers, I fell in love with them and it changed my perception of flip covers. The ones from Samsung are slim and add very little bulk since the rear cover is replaced. Only after that, 3rd party casing makers followed Samsung's design style which means you can have the flip cover in closed position while still able to put the phone to your ear and talk.

The other thing I like about flip cases is it gives the screen protection without having to use screen protector. I dislike SPs because they make the screen insensitive unless they are those expensive type.

Ya, Samsung do change another life of flip cover. This S View make everything cool!

Can direct answer call with flip close - prevent over oil or dust at screen.

Auto screen turn on/off once flip open/close - No longer need to press power button or menu button.


Now I even more enjoy with Flip Cover.

I have changed the call calculator and unlock to one hand operation. Seems the calculator keep align itself to right although I set it to left when exit. Another bug ?

Left my Liquid Armor in the hometown, forced to use a cheapo screen protector while I go back this weekend.

After using it on my Note II which is still scratch-free today, I'm pretty convinced with this product. Of course for the past 1 year, I had applied it for about 3 times.

One thing I dislike is the fingerprints magnet issue.

I'm not a fan of huge MP. So long it fulfills my daily needs to share with my friends, I don't care how small the MP is. Not that I'm printing a billboard or anything and the advantage of having a small MP is smaller size of file.

Guys, I have a question. Is it normal that when u plug in the charger the phone doesn't play any sound ? Previously my note 2 will make the charger plugged in sound. Any way to enable it ?

Did you try flip the cover completely while using back camera? Any problem with taking picture? Can someone share the pics (of completely flipped cover at the backside)?

agreed, especially the fingerprint magnet part, as i am using the liquid screen protector by kristall. very trustworthy, as i always demonstrate how tough it is by trying to scratch the screen real hard with my keys.

when u buy the phone, the default mode is set to 16:9 which is 9.6MP you need to enter inside the settings and change to 13MP which is 4:3 and will cause black bars on each side of the view finder

and andrewtst's pics are also 9.6MP i believe, never notice until just now that vertical picture is so obviously not 4:3
