Haven't seen one S-View myself but from pictures on online, I don't think I will be interested.

I no regret buy it, the build is premium solid. The feel is great also. At least my whole office is impress with it design and build.

just bought the s view cover black from Harvey Norman in Pavilion at RM189

at first when i put it on, the features did not work, it does lock and unlock my device but i couldn't access the features as what i saw in the videos

went back to Harvey Norman instantly and they changed a new one for me which works so i guess there must be a microchip in the cover and it was faulty in the first case

really happy with the cover and the feeling is just like using the phone naked

Just came back from Samsung gardens. Bought a s view cover. The first unit was faulty.

When I asked the salesperson to open back back the cover, I can see the chip is missing. So he gave me a new one. Therefore, if you buy one please open and check to make sure sure the chip is there. It should have two gold connectors. If don't have. Ask to change.

I happy test out Nova also, it run perfectly smooth in Note 3 and thanks god the transparency at status bar is working!
This transparency never work for all Sony phone in year 2013 even though the default launcher is semi transparent, but it is dead at 3rd party launcher.

my wild guess would be the connectivity issue on the contact behind the case and those pin are not meant for chip identification mostly it's for special flip case sw trigger on the TW software where:

1. There's pin I/O that indicate the S-View case have been installed
2. whenever you flip open/close the cover it will trigger an electical switching signal indicate to TW that the cover is close and switch to smaller S-View mode.

Can screenshot and show what is transparency at status bar? I think joytest mentioned about this earlier.
