leftover EO....no, thank you..  shakehead.gif

Not within your control la. You don't get to stand beside your car and watch them do it do you?

This is why they are not going the direction of selling it in bottle now. They are going with charge based on usage.

thats explain the RM90.00 Fully synthetic 0W20 EO that you got,,,,its a leftover,,,hahahha,,,
*
Those are not the leftover.
The leftover is the unlucky one, perhaps the 14th car?

BMW and Mercedes usually use metering valve to measure the capacity required for each car, hardly any leftover, even if there is, no bottle to store them up.

To me, 0w20 by Honda is "cheap" oil. Proper branded 0w20 cost more than RM250 for 4litres.
Honda must be using cheap base oil to blend them, and cheap additives.

My customer uses Fosser 5w40 in his Accord 2013 and he told me, pickup/acceleration/engine quietness improve much more than using Honda 0w20.

Its not just the viscosity but also the group based oil being used, the additives package.

why should i stand beside the car to watch them doing their job? i got other better things to do beside that....what i wonder is that the pricing is not standardized among the Honda SC in Malaysia....this is the info that i gather from Wanija Seremban SC (Cik Anis) regarding the pricing and type of EO used in their SC:-

Fully Synthetic 0W30 -- RM209.00
Fully Synthetic 0W20 -- RM130.00
Semi Synthetic 5W30 -- RM115.00
Mineral Based 10W30 -- RM83.00

There is actually 2 fully synthetic. One being the green LEV based gold bottle (for insight actually) which is cheaper and the white bottle with reddish vtec head cover which goes for 220 per bottle.

I think your price is same as kl leh.

As for why you need to stand beside. For me, if i have to leave my car there. I'd rather be standing beside it as i have nowhere else to go so i can see they do the work properly.

This is the sole reason i change my oil myself now. You can say i have trust issues. But i dun care. I stood before at the small gate near to the workshop overlooking the car until i annoyed one of the sc staff that told me to go wait at the waiting are stating that area is off limits for outsides and i was actually outside the small gate that no one ever passes through

As for what oil honda is using. No need to speculate la. At that price what do you expect la seriously.

This is why i switched over to redline. And it doesn't really cost too much. Just a little over rm50 per liter.

Hey buddy, we are discussing engine oil but thanks and no thank for your advertisement.

How do you sure Honda is selling "cheap" oil? At least my car warranty is covered using their engine oil.

Do not simply sell your product in this way, you can do this in Garage Sales but this thread is meant for discussing Honda Jazz.

Don't be so defensive la. He never said he jual engine oil also. He just said his customer. He never said his engine oil buying customer also. It could be his customer who bought DVR from him or something?

Calm down... calm down

Hi all,

It's been a week now I drive my Jazz 1.5 E Spec.

Already done my first 1000 km service.

So far so good.

The only problem I noticed is the driver's door a bit hard to close on the first try. Some said it's a defect from Honda's factory in Melaka.

What should I do and is it only me facing this problem?

it is not a defect, they used a cheap way to insulate the sound using the rubber lining around your doors hence the difficulty in closing the doors.give it a time,u can close the door with one time try.

Bodykit is okay. But if something to with wiring for example : DRL, Fog Lamp, make sure to install it at shop/someone that can install it properly without messing with the wiring

Hi all,

let say I drive my jazz back home after work, reach home 7pm, then leave the car untouch until next day 8am drive to work, when I step on the brake before press the start button of the car, the brake pedal feels normal.

but if I leave the car untouch for 2 or more days, when I step on the brake before pressing the start button, the brake pedal feels very hard.

is this a problem?
