Does installing accessories (DRL, reverse camera, bodykits) at shop outside will cause warranty to become invalid?

Honda official accessories so expensive liao sad.gif

Bodykit is okay. But if something to with wiring for example : DRL, Fog Lamp, make sure to install it at shop/someone that can install it properly without messing with the wiring
*
plan to install bodykit, thanks for the reply smile.gif

plan to install DRL and also reverse camera, so need to make sure they didnt mess up the wiring right?

Anyways, the new carnival red replacing the outgoing replacing sporty blue is actually not bad. I saw one fitted with a bodykit (dun ask me which one) and a set of white rims and it looks sweeeeeeetttttt! Actually, for me the blue is kinda hard to mix and match properly. I hated the red at first but after seeing an example of a nice one. I was convinced. Maybe in stock form it doesn't look that pretty. But, it does improve if it was kitted up. Just my 2 cents

I ended up taking the new red as well. Fitted it with Modulo bodykit, now look hensem laugh.gif

Hey Everyone,

New Jazz owner here. Well, hopefully soon to be. Just waiting for my LOA to be issued. I  got myself the E variant and hopefully will get mine in either Black or Tinted Silver. wink.gif. This is effectively my first car and hoping that I made the right choice in getting one.

Just want to ask all you Jazz owners what you guys like or dislike about your cars and if any of you have done some cosmetic upgrades to them (bodykit, rims, etc). Quite excited to take delivery on my car. Salesperson said that I could even be enjoying my Raya with a brand new car. Whoop Whoop.
*
Congratulations for the first car thumbup.gif

So far no complaint on the car except the driver side door hard to close, need to slam it shut. Maybe because the rubber still new.

I fitted it with modulo bodykit as my wife like it more than mugen because it looks neat and tidy.

Hi anybody knows for sure that the new jazz promo with Honda tint (eco tint) comes with a receipt? My car has the eco tint sticker but I did not receive any receipt. My friend has the same variant and Has a copy of the receipt for warranty purpose.

My SA said they normally don't give receipt.

Thanks in advance!
*
I got the certificate from eco tint for the warranty. Maybe that is what you meant by receipt? Should check with SA on that.

Will the engine automatically turn off when we were away from the car? I'm talking bout GK5 v spec
*
you mean if you let the engine run and then take the key with you?

from my experience, it gives loud warning beep, sensing the key is not in or nearby the car.

Not sure if I try to drive away the car with that condition, probably the immobilizer will kick in and turned off the engine.

My SA recommends Oto Navi if upgrading the HU.
Its got GPS and supports reverse camera.

Any comment about this brand?

If upgrade it, does it affect warranty?

Is this normal for a 2 week old car? Anyone experienced this issue.

Happens to both back lights. But does not happen at the same time.

I think its normal, my jazz also like that for a few weeks, but I park outside and overnight its like that.

but now my jazz got leak somewhere on the back, the water go inside and drip on the boot cover, seems water leak at the back. Already check all the rubber seal. Any idea how I can check and find the water leak source? it only happen on heavy rain and the car is stationery.

Did you install it outside Honda service center / dealer?
*
I install it outside honda service center/dealer, but I call the Honda dealer and they want to check first to confirm the leak coming from the spoiler, not other part.

QUOTE(perrrhhh @ Dec 25 2016, 01:17 PM)
Oh im sorry about that

*

then chances of you claiming warranty is pretty slim as Honda will say that you installed an unauthorized equipment.
*
not intended to claim warranty because I know I install it outside. But the Honda service in Banting really helpful. After brief check up to confirm the leak is not coming elsewhere, they ask me to send it to the accessories shop where the bodykit been installed, and the shop fixed it for free biggrin.gif

I asked the Service Advisor too, he told me that it is the sound of the compressor magnet being too strong so it got the 'tak' 'tak' sound when the compressor kick in and out
Maybe its normal, i tried to listen from the engine bay with the A/C on the sound is from the compressor. Even louder if u listen from outside the car.
*
Yeap, the sound is louder if from outside. Not sure this gonna have long term effect or not. sweat.gif

So only me, you and @M@rine notice this sound, btw my jazz is 10 months old.

No worries, our car cover with warranty just not sure is the warranty cover when the compressor kong. maybe just try to tell them during service and let them to have a check on the compressor. Seems like not every owner over here having this problem. Do you notice the sound during the first day you got your car?
*
Yes since first day. That is why I already ask service advisor.

Thanks for the update.

What's the use of the hdmi port? Anyway to add reverse camera? I should be getting my car next week. What is the first thing I should do after getting the car?
*
I add the reverse camera, the accessories shop said its plug and play, the software already built in.
