QUOTE(deity01 @ Jun 10 2016, 05:02 PM) Hi all, let say I drive my jazz back home after work, reach home 7pm, then leave the car untouch until next day 8am drive to work, when I step on the brake before press the start button of the car, the brake pedal feels normal. but if I leave the car untouch for 2 or more days, when I step on the brake before pressing the start button, the brake pedal feels very hard. is this a problem? The brakes are power assisted like your power steering. It relies on the vacuum generated from your engine in order to operate. So, if you have pumped the pedal a few times after you turned off your engine. The pedal becomes hard. If not, i have not left my car off for more than a few days before. But, generally it should not feel any different providing you did not touch the pedal at all over the duration of it.

QUOTE(deity01 @ Jun 12 2016, 11:20 PM) I did not touch the pedal after that.. Usually it should not be leaking vacuum. But, you can always ask SC to check if you feel uneasy.

QUOTE(deity01 @ Jun 12 2016, 11:22 PM) What tyre you guys use after the stock tyre? Michelin XM 2? or? Which one better? Pilot Sport 3... Jus joking You need to give a criteria on what you term as better, noise, performance in wet or dry grip? Rolling resistance But at that level, they are more or less the same la. No point changing tires unless you are considering upsizing the rim

Anyone using any aftermarket Air Filter for their Honda Jazz GK? Like K&N, Works Engineering, BMC and etc?
I was wondering did it gave any improvement in terms of better acceleration or better fuel consumption in reality? If it does gave an improvement, which sectors it improve and roughly by how many percent?
Some people says aftermarket filter make no difference or make your car go worst which says that paper air filter are still better

I guess it is not so much about the stock tyre but the profile. Grip is not a hard thing to cure. It just depends on what you are willing to sacrifice. Money and noise is one of 'em

Anyways, open pod or drop in first? Question is what do you expect? If performance increase, i guess you are in for more disapointment than surprise. You might get a load of noise though, and hopefully a bit of change in power curves

Just curious performance wise will there be an improvement? And will there be improvement for the FC as well?

And will there be improvement for the FC as well? Actually the logic is like this. If you can't feel performance improvement (especially at the lower rev band). It is not likely to help with FC as you throttle the same amount at the end of the day to achieve the same acceleration rate. But, at full chat. Be ready to pump very frequent. It is like the car has bladder problems. P/s ; the subject on power and fc is a weird one. You dun get more power without expensing more fuel. If you are about optimizing petrol combustion effectiveness. That is another story This post has been edited by nm7: Jun 14 2016, 11:33 AM
