Yup, RM30 for platinum pack which i NEVER use. Lol.

In an attempt to revive back HyppTV, I powered the STB on and was greeted with this.



Rebooted a few times and does not help.

Is this a technical error on TM's side? Did a quick search and found out that some users resolve this by changing the STB. However, since mine is not under warranty anymore, RM400 for a replacement? Doesn't sound like a good deal.

i dont think RM400 so expensive..i remember TM CS tell me is RM100-200 like tht

The price is stated here effective 25th April 2012 onwards.

I read somewhere some time ago that there is a shop in Low Yat Plaza selling 2nd hand HyppTV STB, anyone can confirm if this is true?

Suddenly my HyppTV gets pass all the errors but I can't view any channels, keep showing the satellite icon with an X.

wohooo! just updated my VIP5 to VIP10 this morning, i go TM around 9.30am, fill form, then at 10.30am my speed already increased! here's my current torrent speed, loving it!



i think its worth it to upgrade, previously my bill was RM179 including platinum pack, now i only top up RM20 to get double speed plus more channel.

I hope TM wont implement download quota just yet. haha.

Surprisingly the speed increased on ehem torrent also, i thought legit torrent only speed increased.

i never use the hyptv..kinda boring..
nowadays only watch online..so not worth it..
current DL Speed oso nice..6++KBs..

Are you using HomePlug?...just make sure at the router end you plug the lan cable into the Red colour slot.

Actually my contract ends 31/11/2013, just now i go and ask for the upgrade, the staff said must wait till finish contract, then i said bolee la, then she go talk inside, then she gave the green light. So far this is the only promotion they have for RM199 VIP10. She said technically they are selling the hypptv package and give FREE upgrade to 10Mb. But for me its the other way around, didnt really use the hyptv. haha. U can try ask if u want to upgrade with the hyptv package.

my place no UniFi, and never believe it would come because it's small town, saw some of them deploy some yellow strip cable sometimes since last year, don't know what it actually is, but today ...

if it is UniFi, how long do you think the service will be available?

Ok will try to ask but do you know if this is a lifetime thing or say after 1-2 years later no more free HyppTV package and they will start to charge for the HyppTV package?
