my place no UniFi, and never believe it would come because it's small town, saw some of them deploy some yellow strip cable sometimes since last year, don't know what it actually is, but today ...

And the guy said it is telekom's fiber cable, and most area already got deployed

could it possibly be for other purposes other than UniFi?

if it is UniFi, how long do you think the service will be available?

i still doubt unifi will be available in my place

no, no need turn it on and off, just leave it on, it optimizes traffic, if you using alone, you smooth and fast

if you are using and there is someone else also using at the same time, lets say he/she video streaming

he/she wont pull connection too hard and affects you, makes u lag and high pings

qos will manage traffic, and priorities

without this, everyone who uses your connection is "best effort"
