i can't remember but it was cheaper than VS4121 and it was built smaller also. but i was damn sad when it was stolen coz it's SQ was better than VS4121...

i bought VS4121 coz of the rave reviews about it... >.> then my sis took the previous model to her place... which was later stolen...

maybe nt much ppl use AL. or shy to say tht they are VS4121 user.

but i don't think sound card is really necessary lo
how high quality will it improve the sound, seriously?
for an average joe like me, i don't really think i'll need that
plus, a good sound card doesn't comes cheap either
those that costs less rm200, normally won't make any much difference, right

whether can hear different after changing sound card depends on how crap your onboard sound before, the more crap the onboard sound, the more different you can hear...

For my experience, from on board > Sound Blaster Live 5.1 > Audigy 2 ZS. The have a big improvement, EAX 1.0 to EAX 4.0, graphic equalizer, surround, speaker setting..... and a lot of feature you can't found in on board sound card. I bought this two cards at RM35 and RM110. If your sound card is older than my sound blaster live, may be its just have slightly different.

mine worse...mobo soundcard > X-Fi fata1ty pro.....for me it kinda make lotsa of diffren..

mine frm mobo > xtreme music.... can notice improvements. if u hv a better speaker thn will be more improvement
