2 wires suppose to connect to the ACC fuse and grounding. Connecting to the BATT fuse or "always on" is dangerous as will overheat the dashcam and drain your car battery very fast. This is why 2 wires are not recommended for parking mode. What if you forgot to manually off the parking mode?

Please get a proper dashcam with proper parking mode that auto on/off if really want to use parking mode.

3 wires hardwire kit and a dashcam with proper parking mode works together. Not just the 3 wires hardwire kit alone. The dashcam has a controller that controls parking mode when detecting the engine is off and will auto switch to parking mode. That's how it works.

The battery will not drain until totally no power because the hardwire kit have cutoff when voltage go down to certain value. So if you left it running for long time the dashcam will cut off the power when voltage fall down to like eg, 11.5v.

Here, they say to connect the wire to "constant power". So it means power will always be on for the dashcam. There is also voltage cutoff.

Official BlueSkySea hardwire kit is 3 wires... But I'm not sure why they recommend to connect the red cable alone and leave out the yellow cable... Black is grounding... Best you ask BlueSkySea and see what they say...

Ok bro. Thanks for the advice. I will get this Blueskysea after CNY. Fits my budget and have official hardwire kit which have less chance of me screwing up. Good for beginner like me.

2 wire type hardwire kit can be connect to acc signal or battery signal up to user preferences. Depend you want it to follow engine start only power on or constant 24/7 recording.

Things about the cutoff protectors, sometimes it might not be so accurate unless you have it calibrated between hardwire kit received voltage with actual battery voltage. Hardness always have resistance which will caused you read different voltage value from fuse box/camera supply cable. How much is the tolerance value accepteable i think all hardwire maker not able to firmly stated in their hardwire spec. Very subjective to individual car and actual battery condition health, battery grade you purchased and actual car component dark current.

Korean dashcams... Can look at Thinkware dashcam as there is authorized distributor in Malaysia... iRoad also got distributor but currently quality is not that good yet... Blackvue is good but brought in by grey importers... Wish can get Blacksys dashcam in Malaysia but very difficult... But Korean dashcams are not cheap...

Some are lucky.. But many have been disappointed lately.. Can see their reviews and complaints on Lazada and Shopee... Plus it's CNY period now.. Long holiday, parcels delivery may get delivered or even lost.
