FYI this tablet or basic micro PC is for entertainment (movies n songs) and daily computing...
if you are on the go it will be useful... basic gaming is not a problem also...
but some on yourtube already review this with FIFA14, CnC, CS or some PO and LR (photo editting)...

technically T100 can replace a laptop device but usability wise its up to you. This is a 10" device. I personally will continue to use my desktop for non urgent productivity tasks

thanks for the advise im usually on the go so it burdens me bringing a laptop which battery life is short and it weighs like a brick so t100 is a really good choice for me.. i saw acer w4 but it doesnt come with keyboard.

Desktop - ASUS by default set the touchscreen keyboard on the taskbar. You can enable or disable the touchscreen display yourself. Keyboard launch is not automatically. You click on it if you need to use it. Also some times it covers the place where you need to put in text/numbers. You can move the desktop touchscreen keyboard around.

also - the FULL HD video files stored on my class 4 (the slowest and cheapest SD Card) do not slow down - they play smoothly.

I am looking for super high bit rate Full HD files to test the class 4 SD Card.

Go find something like Avatar 3D HD. I think the file is some 13Gb... u need to format the card to NTFS


I have been using Class 4 for a very long time.

but my problem now I believe is the T100 itself. Now it refuses to read ANY mSD card. This for a warranty call. Not sure if its a software bug or hardware failure.

The mSD cards are fine in my other devices.

Just updated the BIOS on my T100 and now facing problem with drivers. Cannot use WiFi and sound. Also doesn't seem to detect the battery now.

I suggest everyone don't update to the new BIOS just yet. Seems to be quite problematic.

Anybody found any solution for this problem?
