Just updated the BIOS on my T100 and now facing problem with drivers. Cannot use WiFi and sound. Also doesn't seem to detect the battery now.

I suggest everyone don't update to the new BIOS just yet. Seems to be quite problematic. sad.gif

Anybody found any solution for this problem?

Re-flashed the old BIOS (version 214) which I downloaded from here. I was having trouble initially because Windows couldn't detect my battery and hence WinFlash kept telling me to make sure the battery is at least 20% and is plugged in.

For those who have accidentally updated to the new BIOS (version 220), you must download the old BIOS from the link above then open up a command prompt and run WinFlash with the /force parameter.

After that, you should have everything back in working order! icon_rolleyes.gif

Also, I noticed that with the v220 BIOS, one of the changes made was that when you want to turn on the machine, usually before this must hold down a few seconds (press once not enough), but with the new BIOS there is a light next to the webcam that turns on as soon as the machine starts up (means now you know when you can let go of the power button).

TL;DR: Do not update your BIOS just yet or you will be facing driver issues. tongue.gif

people should serious uninstall the Asus suit from the control panel. I did. I did not even bother to do the optional ASUS product updates suggested by Windows Update. The existence of these softwares is the reason that I do not like to use devices with pre installed Windows OS.

Manage to grab one unit Asus Transformer Book T100 TA with 32GB eMMC + 500GB running for the first time have 50 percent juice. Material build up feels not as good as my previous Transformer EeePad Prime.

Ipoh have plenty of stocks too.

Surprisingly this machine able to play all my Korean MTV with high bit rate such as Blu-Ray grade MTV sample.

Good transformer. It may be the first model of this kind, but they have set a new trend in Windows base tablet. There will be T100 replacement model next year with this success.

Hell yeah!

Loving it. The best tablet/Netbook combo ever use. Previously Asus product was TF101 then TF201.

32GB EMMC might be a let down but going to grab one Kingmax microSDXC 64GB Class 10 next week. Then ordered 3 pcs of high quality clearn type screen protect. Right now I'm using nexus 10 SP as a temporarily SP

Btw has anyone have any solution on how to uninstall Microsoft Power Point 2013? Want to save some extra storage. Cause Microsoft office 2013 main ingrident I'm going to use is word and excel.

Thanks

can someone confirm whether this tablet can connect to VGA projector via adaptor? i mean successfully connect to VGA projector, not in theory only.

Yes, I managed to connect using micro hdmi to vga connector but after struggle a bit with the driver installation. i bought the adapter at Thundermatch from a brand called noops and it uses the asix chip. It didn't work right away the first time, so I had to search for the updated driver . After a few tries installing and uninstalling the driver I managed to get it to work and felt very happy with it.

thanks for the advise im usually on the go so it burdens me bringing a laptop which battery life is short and it weighs like a brick so t100 is a really good choice for me.. i saw acer w4 but it doesnt come with keyboard.
do windows 8 have on screen keyboard when we need to input some text??
*
yes it does, may want to install mouse touch pointer which works like a mouse on a touch screen. Handy tool if you want just to carry it as a tablet.
