No worries. Same thing happened for mine.
Once it dries up no problem.
Unless you flood it in future then it will happen again as it is not waterproofed.

The wood elements in bazi is nothing to do with the real wood. If they say you cannot use water, you not going to drink and bath?

You need to know your ten god and useful god, that you know what are the element represent and type of action.

Get a qualified person to audit.. The one you get I feel is half baked. Use the 5 element literary as element. If he day you need metal you going to make whole house metal?

I have been thinking of that but I'm so afraid to get a master to audit the house...coz the reno plan took months to finalized and I really will pengsan if he tells me to alter anything as everything seems to be going on nicely on track already... sweat.gif
For the courtyard, I will still try my best to make it looks zen with an oversized potted plant....other than that, I'm gonna just 'close one eye' and 'mo ngan tai'... cool2.gif

Thanks...and more sharing to come... biggrin.gif (i'm not a bro btw.. tongue.gif )

Talking about home security, I think alarm system including motion detectors should becomes a must nowsaday even in a g&g community. I'm also gonna install the security door, but that will only for main front door. It will be a full height folding door at the kitchen so that the whole kitchen area can be opened up from wall to wall.

Personally, I do want it grill-free or even gate-free just like the house that I used to live in UK years ago, but I do not feel secure enough to do it here in Malaysia given the high criminal and break-in rate... So, I will go for grill and will even install a set of collapsible scissors grill next to the folding door at the kitchen. The scissors grill and the folding door's frame are gonna be in black to give a modern+vintage touch...

I saw there's another thread there discussing about grill or no grill... I think that is pretty much a personal preference...based on individual's lifestyle and priority-weighing. For me, I do like natural breeze sometimes as I'm not a person who likes to stay in a closed environment with 24hrs air-conditioning. So, when I open up my windows or folding door, I do not want to be shocked by any 'uninvited guest' in the house. For example, if I open up my back folding door, with locked scissors grill, I have no worry at all to sit in the living room and watch my tv...this is even more of a concern if ones has kids at home.

I'm finally back in town again..after away for almost 1 week.... tongue.gif

Renovation progress has been steady but slightly slow as there were only 2 workers assigned for my site from the beginning. I've request more workers from the contractor so that things could be sped up, in order to meet the dateline of moving in latest by end of Nov. Hopefully I could get more work force soon.

Following are some updates as of the 20th day:

- BRC wire mesh is ready for the front porch footing. As you can see from picture below, the part for soil and planting has been made smaller so that the car porch has more width space especially when we park 2 cars side-by-side. It gives a wider walk space so that we do not need to step on the grass.

- Tiles has arrived but yet to see the tiler. Contractor said the tiling sifu has pretty tight schedule... sad.gif
Hope he can secure a time slot for me very soon and I do hope he get me a good sifu with good workmanship coz i'm pretty particular on the tiling quality. I will definitely vomit blood till die if the tiling job is not good... sweat.gif

- leveling work for 1st floor and stairs was done. I don't plan to install any glass or railing for the staircase stepping down. Will just do the laminate (without riser).

- The old sliding door at courtyard has been taken away and the contractor suggested to hack the upper part, making the opening 1 foot higher, and it actually turns out better with such higher opening. Will do BRC roof slab for each opening to the courtyard to avoid splashing of rain..

- New opening at 1st floor family hall and master bedroom.

- The ceiling at 1st floor has been all removed to receive new plaster ceiling later.

- Kitchen wall has been hacked away. Can't wait for the kitchen extension work.

Do you need plumbing service or water filter or pumps feel free to call PM me. By the way Engaging Fengshui does play important roles in the occupants. Mine I engaged Kenny Hoo for my 3 houses and did affect our wealth and health. I did not believe until I met Him and before that I engaged as fenghshui master but It got worst.

Thanks for the offers but the plumbing works are gonna be done by main con..found a pump installed by previous owner, will test it out if it still works well. For the water filter, I have bought both the in and outdoor filters from Nesh in a fair..
