It was selling at 920-950k for a basic unit when I bought mine. That was before they fence up the perimeter.. The bank's valuer told me it gonna straight away appreciated to 1mil when the g&g is up..

The g&g was up just a while after i get my key.. Still no transaction for a basic unit like mine, but those with simple reno done quite some years ago (most of them still with parquet floor and dated bathroom tiles) already gone up from (1.0-1.1mil) to a nice (1.15-1.25mil)...

That not humble leh..: ) if your humble need to hide mine...

Enjoy the journey. Wish you smooth smooth sailing.

The wood elements in bazi is nothing to do with the real wood. If they say you cannot use water, you not going to drink and bath?

You need to know your ten god and useful god, that you know what are the element represent and type of action.

Get a qualified person to audit.. The one you get I feel is half baked. Use the 5 element literary as element. If he day you need metal you going to make whole house metal?

The room is at the upper floor.....btw, is that the common way to do?

Nope, all have to drop top to bottom, that is standard.

Err... Mayb they wanna safe cable length?
Not sure this will cause any bad impact? If not, i got no choice but just let it be then...
*
Bad if you need to hack and do others things. If not careful hack on the wiring can be dangerous.

If you already know how the cable run just take note when do hacking jobs.

Power should always be from top down and water should always be bottom up.
But since it is already done take a picture before plastering for future reference so you do not drill along the wire line

These are the standard, but I seen many did not practice this and claim is profession installer.

The new pillar is it for swing gate? Did not see clear, but I notice no steel frame / Mount for your gate. Usually contractor will put the mount when building up the gate pillar. You check with your contractor how he going to put the mount later.

The separation wall at car porch was up. It was my thought to keep it as simple as possible, but still allows some air flows...this is kind of a common design but I bet it is less likely to looks obsolete overtimes...

I've also hacked down one of the concrete pillar to have wider main gate. Was thinking to use the pillar which is shared with the neighbor to hold the gate but the pillar was found not suitable as it is just constructed with sand bricks...we afraid that it might not be strong enough to carry the weight for a gate over 14' width, thus we added BRC concrete to the existing pillar... So, the width is now left 14'3".

This is straight from the DB box...so they should actually make it goes up to the ceiling and drops down again right? I really hope if I know all these earlier and should have set my requirement on wiring before work commence...  sad.gif

It should be a folding/swing gate (undecided yet). I think my contractor overlooked this. cry.gif
Thanks a lot for your reminder really..
Actually we did try our best to visit the site as frequent as possible and try to identify any mistake before it's too late...but there are lots of things that we are not familiar with and lack of experiences...
I do hope the contractor could help me to do a better supervision but I think they are too busy with too many projects on hand...
Anyway, i still have to learn the hard way to solve all these problems...

Do you think I can hack a portion on the pillar to 'plant' the mounting in with cement?
If not, should I just get the gate contractor to do something like the following picture?

Very lazy job, is only extra 6 meters cables at most.

No need to plant la, just do like the picture you attached.

Never mind, next house you do better smile.gif

Bigger mean more energy consumption. Bigger mean storing more stuff, and sometime we tend to leave many stuff inside till we forgot about it. Go for what fit your family. Just my 2cents

I am using hitachi 600L inverter.
one day average bout 1.5KW till 1.7KW.
On and off got open the door at morning at at night few times, got 50% stuff inside.

Inverter will be better. If got kids sure open more, my kids, always open close few time a day. My fridge only 30% occupied. Read an article is Actually best to have fridge around 80%- 90% filled, more efficiency because the goods inside will help retain the fridge temperature compare to empty fridge open all the cold air gush out.

And well organised fridge help too.

You start around sep this year, progress consider reasonable. Mine took me almost 8 months. But I was not in rush. Your reno may take about 3-4 months work and 1month rectifications.

Why not rent a bungalow for wedding? My friend did that since she is from outstation.

QUOTE(maxxon @ Nov 21 2013, 04:21 AM)
Chill bro, your reno started 1 week later than mine but I think you have got a better progress there...
Mine just started tiling job, the kitchen cabinet and backyard folding door can only get the measurement after the kitchen's floor tiles are up....then, it's another few weeks for them to deliver their work...
The laminate flooring at upper floor could only be started after the tiling job of the 2 bathrooms upstairs....  sad.gif

My initial plan is to move in before 1st Dec for my pre-wedding preparation (bed setting ceremony 1 week before actual wedding date). I'm so upset now as I don't see any possibility that it can meet the date....Now you can understand my frustration and stress?  cry.gif
