Wow! Read from all the previous comments on the SC competencies and quality of work made me rethink to purchase One. Desire and Wildfire were my last HTC phones before abandoning the brand and jumped ship. All because of the SC.

I thought One may bring me back to this brand but heard so many "not so great stories" about the after sales service.... so shall I buy it from AP company then since authorised SC is on par or a bit lower than AP company in term of service quality provided?

Do Red One users having the same camera purple/red/etc. issue? What is the manufacturing date of this unit?

Visible gaps? Scratch?

I bought my One on last Thursday and was marked as DOA by SIS on the next day. Now waiting for my replacement.

The unit that I have on overall is perfect cosmetically, only two issues that I had...

1. Capacitive button backlight leaking - the reason I asked for replacement.
2. Camera purple/red tint - found by SIS staff during the technical assessment, no so bad I would say coz the tint will be visible after 5 seconds in dark environment.

I think the later (refund) is a bit hard to achieve over the counter. A lot of process to go through and the people we are dealing with are not the decision maker... Tribunal is the only way to go.

I own Red M7 and it does have the tint.

I'm a bit confuse here... what is wrong with One home button anyway?

Be very careful on the settings, misconfiguration and it will sip your battery like there's no tomorrow.

Only way to find out is to ask those butterfly s users. They are using the same camera module but slightly larger phone footprint and plastic body material.

Majority is having the issue. The only difference is how bad it is. The worst I found out is even in room brightness or indoor, the purple tint was visible. The least issue is the purple tint will be visible at certain phone temperature or couple of seconds after the camera focusing the dark area.

Workaround is either by lowering the ISO or turn on the flash but both are not producing a great result when you are going to take outdoor night scene.

Unless you can come with an agreement with the seller that he /she willingly to swap with another set if the first set is not up to your expectation. Some sellers are reluctant to do so because of sealed unit.

Fire up the camera app and place the phone on the flat surface, best if on dark surface.

Not sure but I saw one shop at Sunway Pyramid with HTC theme. Not sure if it is a dedicated shop or for the sake of advertising.
