If I am not mistaken,
Previous case,someone exchanged (or got repaired),tested on the spot no problem,
went home and problem occured

Update on my replacement set.
Received call to collect my unit 2 weeks ago but I was away so they reserved for me.
I changed from black unit to silver unit (which I like it) because black has no stock.
Opened sealed unit but sadly same purple tint issue.
In fact,the staff told me "sekarang open box semua pun sama ini saja".
they do not have extra units because they order from HTC the amount same as service requested unit.
He suggested me to repair the camera module or let it be.
Apparently another staff said HTC is working on software updates but still not sure yet.
I am glad with my silver unit now and lets hope a software update will fix the issue. (Not really sure a new camera will fix this permanently,like previous cases we have heard of.)

My purple tint got serious since updated to 4.2.2 last time

Even if it is "fixed",
the users said the update is to lower the ISO(forced) only
We will know when 4.3 reaches us.
But seriously, I do not give in a big hope anymore

Because this phone is too perfect that we would not like it to have any issues.
Moreover, it is really a shame if the new UltraPixel technology they introduced caused this issue
It is really a great phone after all

I didnt say "dun wan use HTC phone ever" though, I still love it.
And no, it is not a small issue, 1 of the reasons I bought this phone is because I was attracted by the ability of HTC One to snap great photos under low light condition. Who knows purple tint yang keluar pula

Seller last minute said silver no stock and i cant wait to get it so black was on the deal
I did hope to request for silver colour from SC but it ended that they called me first.
Purple tint still exist though

Purple tint issue and slight gap on LCD screen with bottom panel.
Yes within 14 days, but I told them I was going back to hometown and they allowed me to bring along my faulty phone.
They helped to reserve until I came back and straight change in on the spot

801e is non-lte
801s is lte version
Mostly in Malaysia I think we get 801s version (some manufactured in Taiwan, some in China like mine )

Taiwan doesnt mean better
I myself got my first unit in TW version, purple tint and LCD gap
Now using CN version also purple tint
But it's true that red colour has less problems reported

Their standard answer : 1 minggu macam tu lah.
And it always take more than 1 week to get the parts

That has to be registered on or before 31/7
