haha i will keep it for other purpose

xunlei is available for QNAP NAS in chinese version, IF you can read chinese then check the link below

Also I found some guide to install xunlei together with aria2, didn't really read the guide yet

but it is definitely possible
just that I am not sure how it works and how it is different from the PC version.

Be sure to patch your QNAP from the shellshock exploit. It wouldn't hurt to check other users comments on the xunlei QNAP app to see if anyone complained of slowdown in their bandwidth which can be a sign of other people accessing their internet connection.

TMnet modem router - Tplink 5port switch

the modem/router is at ground floor;
1port connect to tplink 5 port at first floor
1port connect to my android box
1port connect to my hypptv box

the switch at first floor;
1port to my nas
1port to my cctv system
1port to my laptop

just got my ds215j and nas looks complicated to me. haha
i was wondering why copying my files the speed looks slow.
i test copying a movie files around 7gb from my laptop to nas and the speed is only 10mb/s +-

Simplest and perhaps cheapest would be something like Seagate Wireless 1TB. I believe WD also has an equivalent. About RM 500 to 600. Can bring wherever you go. Runs on battery if required. Does not require a wifi router since it has built in wifi.

I'm looking for a UPS that will simply allow the synology NAS to properly shut down in the event of a power failure. I found this model but not available here. http://www.amazon.com/APC-BE550G-Back-UPS-...A/dp/B0019804U8. Budget below RM300 and your suggestion are highly welcome.

I want to configure one way sync between Synology and QNAP NASes but there are very little information with both Synology and QNAP website.

Does anyone know the configuration steps?

Thank you.
