Can. Run as many split connections as you need through as many switches as long as the cables start at the router on the iptv lan port. Even using managed switch it will still be the same if configuration is set properly. As long as the connection line doesn't get interrupted at any point, the stb will get to reach the router and work. But then again, if you're gonna run a long cable from the router, might as well plug it straight into the stb no? Why bother with the switch in the first place..

u can change to eng or chinese - most if not all have them.

Is there any chance of TM adding more channels to Unifi TV in the future?

I'm more into Asian content like korean but there's only TVN and it's the SEA version which doesn't have as much content as the original TVN, also come with annoying ads from Unifi itself that sometimes can take longer than the usual ad time until the show already started, would be great if they could add more Korean channels like KBS and SBS.

Otherwise, might have to go for other streaming services like Viu since it's just 10 bucks and has all I need.

Well, DimSum is an OTT platform and Astro has owned the exclusive paid-tv broadcasting rights for those channels, which means that it doesn't affect any OTT platform.

But Unifi TV isn't an OTT platform right?

Yet it has some of the channels that Astro has.

Unifi TV is a pay-TV platform, not OTT. Not all channels on Astro are exclusive because the exclusive rights are extremely expensive, however, Astro will choose certain channels (such as HBO and TVB) and gain the exclusive rights, so no other pay-TV provider can carry these channels and contents.

So, you may need to wait for those contracts to expire and see whether Unifi TV is willing to pay and carry those premium channels. It happened to FOX channels in the beginning of this year, so it may happen again since Astro may want to reduce the cost of their content (and prefer to invest in their in-house programmes).

That explains a lot!

Hypptv have a HD channel run on 720p?

I need your opinion from sifu.
My current plan is Unifi Best 100 Mbps w/o STB.
Is it worth for me to get Ultimate pack just for me to enjoy UnifiTV through STB.

I don't care about the apps version because they're sucks and un-remote friendly.

For rm30, u get to watch many channels which are at least 80% as good as astro(at least to me). Plus with the STB u r watching on bigger screen size n better resolution, n using separate dedicated bandwidth.
