Hi! Anyone heard that Unifi will be upgrading Megapack customers to Ultimate Package randomly? Is this true or not? Applicable to every Megapack customers? Thanks!

My Jumbo pack already changed to Ultimate Pack.
You can cancel your Ruby Pack to save money.

I don't have the 2 packages.
I only have one Jumbo pack.
Did TM charge you for both packages?

I'm on Unifi Lite 30Mbps. Previously on 10Mbps, so only have HyppTV Everywhere. When I upgraded to 30Mbps, I requested for a STB.

But the HyppTV on STB, the images will stutter/freeze every few seconds. The audio is okay, just the image is lagging.

Mine is using the Huawei white STB, and router is Netis, provided by TM. Changed to Asus RT-AC68U, using the Netis as bridge modem, still the same.

Anybody knows what can be done, or is it typical of Unifi Lite, as it's using the phone line, not fiber optic cable?

That one cannot be removed. I asked before at TM Point. Mine previously was Unifi Lite 10Mbps with HyppTV Everywhere, no STB.

What I did was at that time, there's a promotion of RM139 for 30Mbps with STB, but it's only applicable for new installation. I went to TM Point, make a public complaint (fill a form), stating on why I need that package. I wrote that I need that STB because I don't have Astro etc. After a week, they agreed to upgrade my plan to 30Mbps, adding the STB, retained my HyppTV Everywhere, and giving me Aneka Pack and Jumbo Pack. All for RM139 per month

There is no need to record on Unifi TV. Can watch any program in past week by selecting them anytime on program guide. You can also access past programs by going to VOD > HyppPlay. This feature is not available in every channel though. If you want to record to keep a copy of programs, this cannot be done on the STB due to strict copy protection.

Saw movie title "Along with the gods the two worlds" on TVN Movies channel but i can't watch it. Even try on PlayTV app got playback error. Other channels are fine. Does anyone here also cannot watch that movie?

just change hardware, playtv app recognized it as a new device and says device already exceed allocated devices.

if u mean hypptv everywhere, u can watch via laptop or u fone or android box without any rooted. if u mean unifi tv, u can't watch via android box or fone. u can buy hypptv box from shopee around RM150. after u buy, call tm and u give mac address to tm for active u box.

No you can't. it tie to only 1 mac address.

My current plan is Unifi Best 100 Mbps w/o STB.
Is it worth for me to get Ultimate pack just for me to enjoy UnifiTV through STB.

I don't care about the apps version because they're sucks and un-remote friendly.

You're right, actually I registered interest add on rm10 upgrade to ultimate pack.

Then received call from TM and they explain the price is rm60 then discount rm50 to me, so total is rm10.

Then I try double triple confirm with them whether is there any contract extension and they said no contract extension.

Yup, not the best for value I compared. Those paying RM189 for 500mbps and still get ultimate is a steal.
But my existing before downgrade is RM219 for 500mbps + Ultimate, like not getting any value at all.

as of today, I am still on the pathetic Streamyx 1Mbps. RM 110 per month.
Unifi offers me upgrade to Unifi 10Mbps, maintaining the monthly fee RM 110 per month.
over the phone, i was told my unifi 10 Mbps comes with free ruby, and 600 minutes free call to fixed line and mobile per month.
but seeing what my friend is experiencing, I am very not confident with their promise.
anyway, will go Unifi to seek answer.

Is it worth it to terminate Unifi 500Mbps to Time 500Mbps?
Currently paying RM189 for Unifi 500Mbps + Ultimate pack.

The TIME 500Mbps is RM139 without TV package. But I planned to install Astro Go (using my family's account) in android box after I installed Time.

Worth it?
