Change your router. I used to download using the default TMnet unifi router, but it hangs all the time. Changing it to one of TPlink's premium router solved all those problems

Hey guys, I compiled a few channel listing for easy comparison. If there are any mistakes, do let me know so I can correct them. Legend:

1. The RED line denotes the channels that are not available if you migrate from MEGA + SPORTS pack to JUMBO pack

2. The YELLOW box denotes the channels that newly introduced in the JUMBO pack that are not available in MEGA + SPORTS pack.

Note: The FRIED CHILLIES FOOD NETWORK from Mega pack is probably not the same as the FRIED CHILLIES FOOD NETWORK on VOD in the Jumbo pack.

Yes, will lose the Ruby, Indian and the premium Malay channels.


conclusion - Don't bother to upgrade. I don't watch football. MTV Live HD kicks Astro Supersports' sorry a$$.

On the other hand, I dont watch Ruby, Indian and Malay channels! And I want to watch some sports like the American Football and english soccer matches

I am glad that Unifi try to understand the different types of customers they have

there is no such thing (for now) as "upgrade" from mega to jumbo.

the old categories stay like that for old users. old packs not applicable for new users; new packs not applicable to old users - for now as i was told today.

with mega now, you can get jumbo by paying rm60 more, so you have mega n jumbo which will have plenty of overlap, so nobody will want it.

until they allow this "upgrade", existing mega users can only add sports and other ala carte packs.



you would think unifi would have thought thru all of that n have a logical and fair offer for both old and new users for any campaign but no...

like i said, all goodies for new users, some for vip10->20 users, but there is nothing great for vip10 with mega. not for now. hopefully things will change.

funny thing was when i spoke to them this morning, i was told i m the only fella asking for "vip10 w/mega change to jumbo +rm10". so, u guys better call and swarm them!

lol, I am more confusing now. After my mega and sport expired, I'll have some break before decide to take any of the pack again.

er... what is "mega and sport expired"? got expiry? or u terminate? care to explain?

MEGA pack to JUMBO pack is not actually an upgrade. I was pointed out the JUMBO pack is missing the premium MIC (Malay, Indian and Chinese) channels. Its only English + Sports. If there is no one watching the MIC channels in your household than by all means.

Else, you are one of the people that TM is trying to force to pay for the sports channels.

the technique is:

Its either the expensive ala carte channels or

English + Sports aka Jumbo at minimum RM60/month

Notice that they have standalone package for MIC channels but none for English channels?

the point is there is no mega-to-jumbo upgrade. it simply doesn't exist at this time.

yes I am on streamyx, but the bill statement is together with hypptv

RTL CBS Entertainment and Extreme are now on free preview until 28/2.

my side, these two channels were free since world cup time...

this actually an interesting issue...

but if google hypptv, there r not part of mega, only part of jumbo!

I only have HYPP basic, but now thinking of taking the jumbo ... what are these 2 channels about ya?
