yeah - very cunning of HyppTV to only make the channel available on MegaPACK -- not that we are able to enjoy like all the channels on the platinum package anyway.

I only subscribe to MTV Live HD and BBC Entertainment lol lol so that I am included in the paid subscriber statistic tongue.gif

Hmmm both slow then. when I was working for Fantasy Football Malaysia - we had this live score alert service. We received complaints immediately after the first day of service when customers complain the that they get the goal score info before it happened on ASTRO .. pffftttt

I don't think so. but there was this upgrade offer that I did not take. You upgrade your package from 5MB to 10MB - pay normal price and you get a HyppTV package. or you upgrade to 10MB you get discounted price - permanently. I told the nice lady from Unifi that 5MB is MORE than enough for me. the speed is too good and stable for me. No need for 10MB smile.gif

JUMBO TV pack is only applicable to 10MB and 20MB Unifi subscribers (old and new)

Internet only package:

5MB - RM149/Month
10MB - RM199/Month
20MB - RM249/Month


With JUMBO Pack: (does not include the Malay, Indian and Chinese channels) - its like English + Sports channels.

If you want Chinese channels - you can add the Ruby pack. If you want the Malay channels, add Aneka. If you want the Indian channels, add Varnam.

10MB - RM209/Month
20MB - RM259/Month

This move is very Astroish! It basically removes the option to have only the English entertainment channels! If you want the English entertainment package - you MUST also pay for the Sports Channel whether or not you like it or not!

MEGA pack to JUMBO pack is not actually an upgrade. I was pointed out the JUMBO pack is missing the premium MIC (Malay, Indian and Chinese) channels. Its only English + Sports. If there is no one watching the MIC channels in your household than by all means.

Else, you are one of the people that TM is trying to force to pay for the sports channels.

the technique is:

Its either the expensive ala carte channels or

English + Sports aka Jumbo at minimum RM60/month

Notice that they have standalone package for MIC channels but none for English channels?

20y of head start for ASTRO. No company is idiotic enough to compete on same platform. The only content provider that can compete with ASTRO is HyppTV. Media Prima decided long time ago they would stick to free terrestrial TV. You cant expect people to pay to watch political propaganda news.

BOMBARD HyppTV's facebook page people! They are fucking showing MTV Asia! The removed MTV Live HD (which is ALLLLLLLL about music videos)

I used to subscribe to MTV Live on ala carte. because I only watch that one channel. Its a sad day. Sadder than the day SyFy Asia and Universal Asia went dark (but that was Universal not HyppTV). This one is purely HyppTV. If they can have Nick 1 and Nick 2 I don't see why they cant have MTV 1 MTV 2. We already have Channel V international to play the crappy western pop, and the shitty Kpop!
