QUOTE(titi123 @ Aug 13 2013, 01:31 PM) Look like many people just don't read phone specification, or just expect spoon fed. As for camera wise, you don't expect it out-perform nokia 808 or i would say no problem with daily daylight requirement, but low night performance is weak, but again, it very much depend on one's expectation. nokia 808 is outlier. I think if perform like iPhone 4 or 5, its pretty good already.

One handed limited to only Sony keyboard ( select through Chinese keyboard). Personally feel is dangerous to use phone single handed as chance of One dropping it is high

My concern was whether the width of the phone may be a little too much for standard SwiftKey app thus needing to purchase the tablet version instead

QUOTE(CubixShoppe @ Aug 13 2013, 10:22 AM) Sony's Xperia Z Ultra is a powerful phablet, but it's not as good as it could be. The poor camera, lack of a stylus and poor battery performance makes it not as good compared with the other phablets. http://asia.cnet.com/product/sony-xperia-z...ra-46729377.htmWhat do you guys think about this? cnet reviews cannot be trusted

I've been waiting for xperia z to replace arc and now when z price has dropped, z ultra launched and after touching and playing with it for a couple of minutes, i'm slowly attracted to XZU pulak ...
My Q are 1. Is the XZU camera is comparable to arc or better? 2. Will it better to wait for Honami and compare it with XZU before I commit myself to XZU? Any significant advantage of Honami compared to XZU beside camera?

Uncle, it might be a very stupid question, but I need an answer if you can provide me with one. I too, used my SanDisk Thumb Drive through USB OTG and it worked perfectly, I could read and copy files very fast and smoothly. My question is, why can a Thumb Drive be read but my WD 1TB External Hard Drive can't be read at all. Why is that?

I too, used my SanDisk Thumb Drive through USB OTG and it worked perfectly, I could read and copy files very fast and smoothly. My question is, why can a Thumb Drive be read but my WD 1TB External Hard Drive can't be read at all. Why is that? Your HD must be in FAT32 format. Unless phone is rooted, you wont be able to read default NTFS formatted drive. That is for Android OS 4.1.2 and below. For 4.2.2 I am not too sure as I do not have any 1TB NTFS drive. My Samsung 1TB ( in Fat32 format) can be read. Anyway power need required from USB harddrives is higher than thumb drives. Depending on your model , sometimes even on FAT32 format you cannot read it unless you can power up your HD separately Singapore will be launching this phone ( 99.99% will be LTE based on various sources ) this 15 August http://www.thetechrevolutionist.com/2013/0...unching-in.htmlThis post has been edited by benny888: Aug 13 2013, 06:01 PM

Any significant advantage of Honami compared to XZU beside camera? i took the plunge for XZU instead of XZ in replacement of my acro S. i won't compare XZU to honami. if you are the first step mover then i suggest you to wait for honami and get it while it's oven hot. else, get a XZU at a price lower than 2299. the camera part. XZU camera definitely loses out to many phones that come with LED flash. i have not met any issues with low light pic taking yet but overall images still acceptable.

Can't find a better keyboard so far. On a side note, i think with the SBH52 this phone will be complete. Still waiting for this BT headset.
