Anyway, I wonder whether Slim Armor and Slim Armor View buttons material is different or not coz you guys keep mentioning hard to press. I lost count of how many accidental pressing of both the volume and power buttons.

Although volume buttons are not as sensitive as without casing, a firm and not even forceful press will activate it liao. Light touch won't do, so minimize accidental pressing like those without button casing. Still I kena a few time accidental pressing tho much much less occurance. Love it better than without button casing due to that.

Power button do require slightly more force than without casing, but every time I firm press also works, no need force press at all.

Just bring your unit to service centre and get the screen replacement. COst about RM500++ and free labour if SME unit or additional RM100 if not. They can do it within 2 hours if u need it fast. As for the sound as them check it too, if need to replace i think it shoud cost less than RM100. Anyway u can always ask CS reps how much it cost before hand.

Yesterday plug a cable from my altec lancing surround speakers to S4 LTE....can't even detect. Also cannot detect my JVC headphones. The only thing that works is the original earphone.

My JVC headphone is 32ohm also but cannot work. This is one of Samsung inherent improvement failure, even my S2 works with all the devices above. Now I cannot listen to mp3 songs from phone for a drive thru Civic (don't have MP3 player there, so usually plug in thru aux port). This is a step backward for audio department. Cannot attached to any speakers at all.

If there is no sign of impact damage like dents, scratches and cracks there is a good chance you can claim warranty. Of course don't tell them you dropped it la.

i dont have issue with the earphone jack. able to play sound in my car using Aux cable. The sound is fantastic after using the Equalizer app . Now using iBolt dock, no need to plug separate headphone jack cable, the charger comes with the aux cable.. super nice. Only some noise when both charging and listening to music. Need to find some capacitor bank to do some filtering at the charging port. Apart from this, everything is fine.

My phone is everthing now. Can be a phone, a tablet, a tv, Vehicle Multimedia Centre, TV Remote and much much more..

Darn....just found out, its the Slim Armor View Casing. The audio port hole is so precise and small, it only allows the very thin audio jack jacket of original Samsung earphone jack to plug in FULLY. Should have make the port hole large enuf for all standard jack jacket.

A very major flaw cause most ppl would switch out the stock earphone for a much better ones or linkage to external speaker. The current audio port hole just does not allow any other jack other than Samsung original.
