Golden Steering Wheel for Peter Schreyer

Bavarian-born Schreyer has been Chief Design Officer at Kia Motors since 2006 and was appointed President of all Hyundai-Kia Design Centres at the beginning of 2013. With overall design responsibility for the world’s fifth largest car manufacturer, Schreyer is only the second designer in the 31-year history of the Golden Steering Wheel to receive the award. Giorgetto Giugiaro received it in 1995.

Peter Schreyer trained at the Munich University of Applied Sciences and the London Royal College of Art, which presented him with an honorary doctorate in 2007. Prior to joining Kia, Schreyer was responsible for the design of pioneering models such as the Audi TT, Volkswagen’s new Beetle and the Volkswagen Passat.

At Kia, Schreyer has developed a design philosophy that stands for simplicity and clarity, which has made a considerable contribution to the success of the brand – in the past five years, Kia has doubled its global sales and in 2012 sold more than 2.7 million cars

You sure about point 1? What I know is that you do not need to be insured with Allianz to be on warranty.

If you are not on 2 + 3 year program there is not need to stick to Allianz. Info from SC

Normally this is what happen:-

Me: Nornal service.
SC: How much is your millage sir?
Me: 10200
SC: OK (busy writing the service slip)

He will then pass the slip to the service and service drive to the service bay. I don't think they check.

OK just went to SC for 20K service today. I didn't dare to take the risk so I chose to go for service before starting the journey. My ODO was 19952km and paid RM238.50 because got 10% discount. Didn't get any freebies but they gave me back the oil balance, maybe I can use it for my EX5 brows.gif

I feel my car starting to be shaky at about 150KM/h. Not trying to drive dangerously but wanted to try the car for how far it can reach.

Well, somebody with Vios was tailing me at 130HM/h so I increase the speed a little bit to 160KM/H so that I can quickly get passed of some cars at middle lane and get myself into it. The Vios looks very fast and I think it should be driven at at least 180KM/H at that moment.

Any Vios owner here and had tried that speed before? Will it be unstable when reaching 180KM/H and to be frank I feel totally unsafe when made it to more than 150KM/H with my Forte 1.6. sweat.gif

I tried to over take a VIOS before at 190km/h. Somehow i still feel ok with Forte for 190km/h speed.

Without taking off the tyre, how do you not spray the brake discs, the brakes? How did it go all the way to the inside of rim? I can't even wash the inside rim when I want to.
