1 thing i notice, after the car under hot sun. the dashboard got rattle sound.
after car move and getting cold then no more rattle sound

Hv u changed the stock tyre?

I personally feel it's the main cause.

Just want to share a bit here. I'm currently driving a white 1.6SX with mileage about 9100km. Here are few problems I have with the car:

1. Rattling Dashboard - solved by inserting a sponge between the windscreen and the dashboard (as suggested here)
2. Sound at the rear tyre when passing a bump - sent to SC Selayang and they changed the absorber for me
3. Wind sound when driving more than 90km/hr - the foreman say the sound comes from the visor. 

I kept asking the staff serving me how does the visor cause that sound and how to solve it but he seems like don't know anything and say this is an accessory and it's not covered under the warranty. At the end I also don't want to ask him anymore and left with my car. 

Anyone can advice me on this problem?

Follow 1st page on the rim spec. The info is collected and verified (supposedly). If it is wrong, some one would have asked for a change along the way.

Changing crank case pulley is more complicated than plug and play. So mod don't scared, scared don't mod. Changing rims can void your suspension warranty if the SC wanna buat you.

First of all, many thanks to Mr Loh for his great service.  Finally I've gotten my Forte 1.6SX..among the last of its batch   Enjoying my ride..no regrets!

However I hope to get some advice from fellow Fortezans here regarding some issues:

1) There is some rattling sound coming from the passenger door behind the driver's seat.  Have yet to determine the exact part that's rattling..  I've come across many complaints of dashboard rattling..but I can't really find any pointers regarding this "rattling" of mine.

2)  On navigation, the radio reception keeps disappearing on and off, especially when nearing/making a turn.  Any way to prevent this?

3)  There is a something that looks like a paint chip on my rear left door   Don't know if it's there from the beginning..anyway what's the best remedial action for it?  Attaching a pic...



4)  Have yet to finish a full tank, but FC seems horrendous at the moment!  100% city drive, 1600cc: now averaging 11-11.5L/100km, but the fuel gauge seems to be dropping disproportionately (feels more than 12-15L/100km!  Is it normal to have such high FC in the beginning? Or is it going to improve after 1st service?  Or am I delusional?

Cantik. How much? They did not take out the tyre right?

Without taking off the tyre, how do you not spray the brake discs, the brakes? How did it go all the way to the inside of rim? I can't even wash the inside rim when I want to.

Mine is M5 before changed it to MC5... Recently got one punctured... Disappointed cos the tyre not last more than 3 months
