Thanks for the enlightenment, Tenno. I'd always thought footballers were millionaires. LOL. Is your team eligible to play in Malaysia's FA / League Cup?

kcng - good luck with your "trial". Once you get into the team don't forget us, and cannot ffk already...
*
Millionaires ah ? No la, but those playing in the M-League do earn quite a lot. Example, PKNS' reserve keeper earns around RM2000 monthly, & that's playing in one of the not-so-rich teams la. & keepers usually will be the lowest paid player in the team, depending on experience.

We are gunning for promotion to the FAM's Premier Club league. To do that we must be in the top 2 of the current league. If we get to play in the Premier Club, then the club must start paying us salary la, as stipulated in the FAM's rules.

exkay: Reusch was my favorite glove, but now nobody carry them anymore in KL. Uhlsport, never could afford them even now, but U can find them in Pertama, but only the common models la, not the latest ones. Price ? Uhlsport's cheapest is around RM130.00 & that's a very low end model. The Absolutgrips goes for around RM240.00

Depends la, if powerful shot and aim for top corner that's nothing much you can do about it. Want improve reflex? Practice practice practice....

Quite a few things you can do. The easiest one, U can do it at home even, is the one where U hold the ball between your legs with your hand (both hands) like....criss-crossed. Then switch your hands, & don't let the ball drop. Quite hard to explain without pics actually.

Then U can have few shooting practise, this exercise requires 2 ppl (including U). U stand facing the goal (with your back to the helper). Then when the helper gives a signal, turn to face him, at the same time he will kick the ball to you. The ultimate one would be the shooting practise with 5-6 balls la. The balls shot at you continuously, one ball after U've saved the other. Do 3-4 sets.

To improve sharpness, I play video games, fast-paced FPS like Quake III works for me. I play for an hour before the match.

Anybody saw how Sanchez of Mexico faced the penalty in Mexico's last group game ? Very unique, never saw anybody do that before. But anyway, it didn't work for him, couldn't get to the ball.

Well, as I said, playing fast-paced FPS like Quake III can improve sharpness, not really reflexes. It can improve alertness, awareness & sharpness. In the US, some of the american football teams let their players play video games before their matches.

I hope I can get my Lotto G-Force today, so that I can test it in training. Hopefully.....hopefully... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

kcng: I've a suggestion. We have a training session today at 8pm in PKNS Kelana Jaya. Why don't U just come & watch us training first ?
