Moved to new place for work. Missing watching football in hd from home comfortably very much... now really wan to pasang astro at rented house liao

Saw on astro site they have this online deal valid till 31st august...rm80++ for the basic + one mini pack + sports... really curious whether got hd or not any1 have suggestions for me? Would appreciate it very much

Astro is not going to have Fox Sports 2 & 3 in HD? Then, there will be no longer tennis, F1, Moto GP in HD.

They really need to reorganise the sports channels so all the ASSP channels are together then the FS channels, then the rest. Not so intuitive to surf through them in the current order.

Can I ask, do u still get Fox Sports News over there?

I'm just curious whether Fox Sports have disbanded the channel altogether or whether Astro have dropped it.

It sucks not to have a sports news channel while in the UK, they are hyping the recently upgraded Skysports News channel.

same with my cousin who staying in condo with centralized sd dish. can even watch the HD world cup channel during the world cup but not the rest of the HD channel.

Yes, it's still available. But the ch is still broadcasted in SD. Also I read somewhere that FOX SPORTS and FOX SPORTS 2 are different feeds from those on astro.... the ones on astro has BPL.

Yes, it seems only in Malaysia, Fox Sports are showing the BPL.

Not yet, 'cause it's been "transferred" to AOTG "Channels" instead.

I have just updated the my Live football games listings thread. After some researching, I found out that not all big football games are on Fox Sports/Fox Sports HD. Some are on Fox Sports 2 and some racing are on Fox Sports 3.

I can only assume that it's only a matter of time before Astro adds Fox Sports 2 and 3 HD, or else they will be missing some major games and events not in HD.

And one of the league, the German Bundesliga, will move to the Fox Sports network from the usual Astro Supersport channels starting from the 2015/2016 season so I would imagine they would need channels for that too.

malaysia has the biggest market ever 4 the EPL...not sure about singapore and other asian countires though

Is there a way to put static ip on astro byond pvr?
I try connected with my wifi but cant get any ip, but no problem connected with LAN cable.

ASTRO STILL ENJOY SPENDING MONEY ON REALITY SHOWS LIKE THIS INSTEAD OF BRINGING NEW INTERNATIONAL CONTENTS & CHANNELS (WELL BOLLY ONE HD IS PRETTY MUCH A HOME COOKED DEAL WITH GUARANTEED REPEATS)

Astro once claim or is still claiming they are the home of BPL. In order to claim that, the BPL coverage has to be extensive & what theybatre doing now is most certainly not. Exclusive BPL shows direct from the UK like Premier League News & Fanzone are not given the priority they deserve when it can be shelved for coverage of other sports & especially WWE which belongs in the variety channels. Its also confusing when Fox Sports spends a fair amount of time & money for their BPL presentation & show while so called "home of BPL" have lackluster presenters & pundits surrounded by a dull uninteresting studio compounded by furniture that seems to have been patched up for the last 2 seasons. Stop wasting your time & let Fox handles it.

No wonder we have to pay high price (+GST) for it...

Good Point. My opinion the public attitude should change,the public should be educated ,they must withdraw their support and craze over this silly crap shows. Indian reality shows are taking the youths by storm and they actually spend hard earned money on sms voting!As long public support is there asstro will make all the money and open more In House channels! The big subscriber base is a blessing all they need is 5% subscribers to buy a In House channel,they make money already! Again here customers must change and should not allow more and more add ons to their bills. Look at the dozen AB channels,all are a success cos there are subsribers who will take whatever

To be called the home of the BPL, they should actually show all matches LIVE and not have some on Delayed. Then, like u said, they have the rights to programmes like Fanzone and PL News. If i'm not mistaken,in the US and in Australia, they have dedicated and temporary channels for the BPL coverage that deserves the name of the home of BPL.

And yes the astro studio is so dull to add to the dull presenters and guests they have like Abbas Saad. Their own original programming is so boring where u have a bunch of presenters who sometimes cant pronounce the names or teams correctly. They only know the Ronaldo's and the Messi's and the Man Utd and the Liverpools.

I don't advocate the Astro overhyped and overpromoting of the BPL but the way they talk it up as if they are the real home of BPL.
