not sure if there's discussion on this problem or not, I've tried to search but couldn't find solution. Here goes my problem :

lately (for the past 2-3days) my HD channel goes blank every 10-15mins. It is very irritating especially when watching football match. But this problem doesn't happen when I change to SD channel.

I've been using ASTRO Beyond since 3mths back, but this problem started this past few days.

anyone know how to solve this problem?

Temporary only during Piala Malaysia time. After that it probably get permanant one (if more demands), since most programmes on Arena is also shot in HD.

Does anyone use Astro IPTV with Maxis? How is the experience? Worry that the line is not stable to stream the HD channels.

So the Astro Arena HD is not permanent? Actually, I liked how they used the channels for the games last night.

You had JDT vs Kelantan on the SD channel and the Pahang vs JDT2 on the HD channel. So they actually show 2 matches instead of one but available in both versions.

The internet and tv have their own bandwidth allocations so one won't slow down the other.

Works fine most of the time, although a few weeks ago for a few days the tv would cut off every evening for a few hours. OK now though. Worth the $$$ savings over satellite subscription and unifi fibre.

been using it for quite sometimes.
it has dedicated bandwidth for iptv and your own internet, so dont worry.
from my end, 98% of the line is stable.

1. internet down is very minimal, there is one time where i can watch astro, but i cannot use my internet for about an hour or so.. that is from my experience la.
if you go to astro fb, there is many unlucky that gets unstable connection. i getting an sms where they said they will do maintenance in my area, 3 times already. even during maintenance i don't get my internet or astro down. thumbup.gif

2. i don't have multiroom, so i don't know. but i think they will bundle it together. by bundling, i mean, the multiroom will also has to include in the IPTV. so kantoi sudah.. sweat.gif maybe you can ask during installation or during registration for not to include it.

Instead of going TOLL FREE from 1st september to reach CS we will have to call 0395433838 , even 1300 services is too much for them to provide! The only large customer based company which has NO toll free services but recieved many awards for customer services!!!

Don't forgot the local HD channels is going to take that space too. For now, only RTM "HD" is the only one. tongue.gif

i currently subscribe to 1 pvr multiroom...

1 main pvr + 1 multiroom pvr... current setup is 1 dish with 4 lnbs serve both pvrs...

let say i would like to add 2nd pvr multiroom, they will install new dish or change existing dish's lnb to 6 output ?

Was told by my condo management that the centralized dish doesn't provide HD service. So we're forced to take up IPTV to get HD. but tiba tiba today I can get arena HD wth???? I still can't watch other HD channels tho. I smell something fishy...
