U need to register it at u mobile service centre. Same thing happened to me last weekend when i purchased a u mobile simpack at Giant too.

but why i music streaming with KKBOX still used my data?

So basically I still need to pay full one month service eventhough i registered late on that month, ie 25th of june.

I just checked out U-mobile website and was interested with the P70 plan;

Free call 70 mins (30 mins everyday), and 7GB internet.

Was just wondering on U-mobile network and internet speed (latency)

Is there contract for the plan? Just in case no coverage and internet suk. I am staying in USJ, might move to Puchong soon (nearby Taman Mas). Additinally I travel around Malaysia for work which I am worried about the coverage.

Anyone can share? Hidden cost? Problem?

if i switch to this Power Prepaid and also subscribe to UMI30
i get 1.5GB+1GB data but what about the 30 mins free calls to all network from the UMI30 package? Do I still get that?

Also I have another old UMI28 package that comes with 100mins free calls

Giant staff are a bunch of FUC***G lazy sh1t. I even have to go back to the Giant and insist the lazy staff do it in front of me. Done in less than a minute.

Meaning that they never even bother to register our SIM card the time we first bought it.

For U Mobile, you can just forget about the free all network (in this case 70 mins) as you will only be able to enjoy the 30 mins same network after you have exhausted your free 70 mins all network.

If you ask me, I would saya that U Mobile should be more sincere in giving the free 70 mins all network. Like what they do with their free SMS where they separate between on net and off net.

The free call is not my concern as I only call my own subline usually. My call to other is minimal.

Just that I am worry about coverage or hidden cost or hidden detail.

I see. I was just responding to your previous post which emphasised the free all network call as well as the same network free call.

In term of coverage and speed, it is good as long as you are not in a rural area.

Yes, but the free on net calls with top up is reduced to 15 mins per day.

I going to ask about the plan yesterday.
If I subscribe UMI20, I will receive 500MB+1GB data, but 1GB data only valid for 20 days if I top up RM20, and data consume the 500MB first, I was like *@($&@^@@!@ no I won't consider to switch now.

Then why not u topup rm20 and use the 1gb

after finish then u buy umi20 since the data can be used even when inactive

Why not just buy prepaid to test speed first? If you travel around Malaysia I would not recommend U, better to use Maxis (if mainly town) or Celcom (if got rural).

U is best in Klang Valley and some places (Penang for example), not for general travelling around.

Didn't think of that but could be a suggestion.
