This new U28 postpaid plan is very interesting and tempting.

I'm currently on Umobile prepaid and I would juz like to clarify;
1. if I convert to postpaid, what happens to my credit balance in prepaid?
2. will I still be entitled the free 50mb per day international roaming?
3.How much would I be actually paying monthly? Is the calculation (RM28+RM10 (duty)*1.06GST) correct?

Ya..I undstnd the risk but I've been living with 250mb/month since last month so I hope shouldn't be a problem. And I get to save on additional local simpack. 
So it's a one time thing..
If what u say is true, I might switch today!

Please confirm on 1. If its true I straight convert now, the only reason I'm waiting is because still got credit... CnY Garage is this true?

U Mobile Haziman My- Hi, if you convert from U mobile Prepaid to Postpaid, then your Credit will be brought over completely.

Just make sure that it is RM100 or below, or else the excess amount will be forfeited/burned.

A phone shop at my area would not process my MNP request from Maxis postpaid to U28.

Their reason is they did it few times before but all rejected due to owner still have outstanding fees to be cleared.

He asked me to convert my postpaid to prepaid at Maxis center. then only go to them.

Is this the standard procedure now?

2 years back I switch from Maxis to Celcom, then back to Maxis again (all postpaid) but didn't get this non-sense.

When I first saw the ad I felt so pleased that umi offers a vast amount of quota BUT I paid a visit to the nearest centre and I was informed that it is a 1+2 plan.  1gb for 24hours and another 2gb for 2am till 10am. I am now quite frustrated with it.

Umobile dealer in the store sungai buloh.  Even in the official brochure it states that only 1gb is for 24hours usage.

Wrong info. Maybe the shop is very lauyah.

Anyway, I port from prepaid with UMI28 to U28.

I got 3.25GB whole day.

Why do I have extra 250MB? Because I do autodebit.

Oh there, did you see the * that wrote after 2gb on the new plan? That is the deal.  From 2am to 10am only.  I will call u mobile for further explaination.

Okay, i went to the umobile centre and they explained the doubt clearly.  3gb for 24hours. so this plan is entitled for the free tonton and youtube surfing from 2am till 10am as well?

So which one better.... U28 or power pack? If want maintain 30 days active  as need to maintain active to make call then need pay rm30 but yes we can use rm30 for calling and sms . If u28 we get more data at full speed but only have 50 min call.

So power pack more for calling and u28 more for Internet?can I say that?
