I plan to MNP from hotlink to U28 tomorrow, with certain reason prefer U28 than power prepaid

after a month use, then I will strict away deposit half year monthly fees to the U28 bill

what is that reason?

1. hassle free to topup every month. If forget tupup and phone cant call...........then die
2. Got 40% discount now, dont know when this campaign end..............so pay earlier to lock the discount

I switched from prepaid UMI28 to U28 last Monday. Before tethering on Tuesday night, the data usage was 0.08GB. After tethering for one hour (just surfing using laptop e.g. Malaysiakini kind of websites, NO video/youtube/music streaming), found out the data usage was 0.38GB... ate away 300MB !!!

How does umobile calculate data usage?

I think your laptop is downloading Windows 10 update file.
Never tether if you don't know how to control your laptop data usage.

open a same website via mobile phone and PC, it have huge different in data usage.

anyway one hour of web surfing consume 300MB is quite a lot.

Seem like umobile consume data fast

Consume data fast means umobile is very high speed internet.

Maybe website keep on downloading flash?

hi all! one question guys! Let say if i reload RM30 for 1 month validity,
What if,
(Monthly validity expired) Can i still able to buy umi plan for internet or maybe free calls?
Because last time even my plan's validity expired i was still able to buy internet plans (Hotlink), but they disabled it recently.
If not, what if
(Monthly validity one day or few days before expired) i buy umi plan 30, i would get 30 mins all-net free calls right? So i could get extra internet + free calls for another 30 days. Here is the question, but will it expires along with the plan's validity? Which means, if i buy umi 30 on 30th June but my plan will be expired in 1 July, can i still use my internet and free calls on 1 July onward? or i need to reload to access again?

1gb only usable during active period

Umi internet can be used in inactive period

Umi quota will be used 1st before 1gb

Therefore use up 1 GB before subscribing umi
