Want to ask, will I be able to use U28 data plan in Bali? any additional charges and do I need to activate anything?

Need pay them deposit RM300 for International Roaming (go google it on their website).

The usage charges damn expensive. Suggest not to use at all. Just pick up a call and you get charged a few bucks for nothing. Use data and get charged thousands of ringgit.

how is umobile 3g coverage comparing to digi/maxis in terms of stability and speed? using maxis nw but facing sudden poor signal at my house. use to be full bar but nw 1-2bar. and at many places, the speed is slow and switches to edge on high rise building. even digi can stay on 3g at same area. so thinking of porting to U28..and just asking is the speed able to reach 3-6mbps?. current usage 1-2gb of quota

U Mobile has a partnership with Maxis so the signal should be more or less the same if you're using U Mobile 2G. U Mobile 3g's signal would depend on where you are located.......

Speed wise, 3 - 6mbps would not be a problem(but of course it depends on where you are), but since U Mobile doesn't have 4g yet so it can't reach 20+mbps like what Maxis is having right now(I saw that it has a good speed, but maybe due to less users)

Anyway, just get yourself a prepaid for RM8, then get a UMI28/48(500mb and 2gb respectively) and give it a spin

p/s: the prepaid plan can be converted into postpaid plan

well, actually my subscription starts on early month, so end of month, finish..
easier for me to top up..

yup, unused calls and sms can be brought over provided that you have subscribed it before the package ends, you have not subscribed to another plan(like from UMI28 to UMI48) and only a total of 2x of your free calls and smses will be provided(so, for UMI28, the max freebies that you can have is 200min of calls + 60 smses)

i think my usage everymonth wont have free sms brought over..

unless ppl i know all have data plan and smart phone.. So i can whatsapp more and sms less..
actually i have intro this umi28 to my sister..

she has smartphone but no data plan,
she said cos she got the p1 wimax at home dy..
she thought data plan very expensive until i explained to her this umobile plan..
haha, she heard about umobile but never bother it..

cos she thought must change simcard..i said no need change simcard, i can help contact digilife for her..
