Current umobile prepaid user here. I wonder if it is possible to change from UMobile prepaid --> postpaid --> prepaid back again? No MNP. Anyone with answer/experience?

Thanks!
Hmm. I am planning to get a mobile broadband as well..
Probably will test few days about the signal with my current mobile data..
If its satisfactory then I'll go for UMobile's plan.

prepaid -> postpaid = ok, just go to U Mobile Store to change it
Postpaid -> Prepaid = not so ok, still need to go to U Mobile Store, but it says that the conversion is subjected to the management's approval.

both of the answers are from U Mobile's sc, so if you need some proof, I can pm it to you

to share my exp porting from digi to umobile

went to umobile shop, asked to port over
shop confirmed some details and took advance payment of Rm 28 for u28 postpaid
within 24 hours, I was ported over and able to use my line

pretty good in my opinion

everything else went good, 3g data in puchong is good.
I dont have any issue, maybe coz i am a low data user
speedtest is about 2.5 Mbps. It's sufficient enough for me
ping is about 80 ms

it's my first month, so far so good
happy to be on board!

it means after u finish the high speed quota of 250mb, the speed will be throttled to 64 kbps which is super slow.

can, you'll be terminating both of your account(actually its the main account, but since the sub line is tied to the main account then both of it gets terminated) then apply for the RM68 Internet Share plan(same setup, one primary + one sub line)

and yes, 60 minute for that particular plan(shared by the primary and sub line)

if you need another sim(3rd sim), then only you need to pay for the extra RM10/month.

yup, provided that your ipad has the sim card slot

I finally ditched Celcom and went for umobile U58 postpaid plan with 2GB internet, almost for a month now. At first, it was smooth sailing. On 3G, I got like ~1.5Mbps to ~2.5Mbps DL/UL on average. However, recently dropped to >1Mbps DL and >0.3Mbps UL. Sometimes I can't even send my tweets out. I haven't exceed my 2GB, BTW.

What is your usual 3G speed? Is this normal?

that is because the latency is higher so it doesn't really matter even if you have a very fast dl speed

I get that speed as well usually. are you at the same place when you're doing the speedtest?
