Umobile change on 8 Jan 2014, switch to umobile because validity period x 3, now umobile change to 2x blush.gif

08 January 2014

Effective 8 January 2014, changes to the existing U Prepaid Plan are as follows:

1) Credit validity will be 2x the top up amount.
2) Peak hour calls within the free calls validity (between 7PM - 11:59PM) will be charged at RM0.045/30 seconds block.
3) IDD bonus will be revised to 10% of the total cumulated top up value on the same day.
4) All UMI28 and UMI38 renewals/purchase after 8 January 2014 will be based on the new enhanced bundle.

Nope, at the moment the online account only gives credit balance/expiry date and topup history.

However, U Mobile is currently switching over to a new business support system from Ericsson, which may allow them to provide online statement in the future.

Hi,
I'm thinking of porting to Umobile U50 postpaid; 2GB + 100mins call.
Using LTE phone mainly in Puchong and USJ. LTE not compulsory,
mainly Whatsapp. Must have itemised billing to claim company calls.

1. Is Umobile network good?
2. Can choose/buy desirable 018 phone number? If yes, How?

Currently using DiGi Optimum Plan w/o data.
(Yeah very old postpaid line)

Planning to subscribe MB 68 plan, http://www.u.com.my/internet-postpaid-plans , wanna ask if all the 10GB in MB68 (5GB+5GB) is finished, can I still use the internet?

And can I straight take the modem and sim card immediately in the centre when I register?

I'm not sure bout itemized billing as I'm using prepaid.

1. Its not bad, it really varies from place to place, just like any other provider out there. I use it for surfing, whatsapp and instagram. It works well though, download and upload are okay. I don't youtube at my phone so I'm not sure how will the performance be.
2. Yes, just go to the shop and choose the number that you wanted.

I believe so, but the speed should be capped to 64kbps once you've used up all of your quota.

hi all, i would like to change to UMI 18 plan from my current service provider. The question is, do i need to cancel/terminate my current plan first (not tie to any contract now) then only register for UMI18? Or i can straight register for UMI18 once it's activated then my current plan will terminate??

Thanks if someone can clear my doubts.

I just change my celcom number to umobile, and already subscribe to umi38. However, i dont see any E, G or even 3G beside my coverage bar. But i still can make call and sms. Anything wrong?
