Water test sticker? Looks like those used in lab experiment, is it called blue colbat chloride paper which will turn pink when it contacts with water?

Yeap, That's what they use on the sticker. Helps technician to identify problem easier.

Hey, here's what i got from SE service center from Maxicom. Even if you bring in the fake batteries it would be quite difficult for them to determine it is fake or original. Only a few guys would be able to tell.

He showed me different type of batteries make. Although i didn't notice any black covered top (the water test sticker part). Well to me, the best type would be the Made in China, finished in china type batteries. Type CDA 0002001.

Basically all are the same, just the build quality and how sexy it looks (compare paper like wrapping with aluminium type wrapping.

They claim that it is AP original. But if there is any problem, bring it back anytime within 7 days 100% unscractched and they will give you a full refund. I hope nothing happens after 1 month of usage. Cause after that warranty over edi.

Can you verify whether your battery is original or not with SE?

Should be able to. Send to to service center and check.

so.. the conclusion is the only way to diff ori and fake batteries is to bring it back to SE center?

But most AP ones the wrapping is like easy to sunk in la...i mean the paper wrapping of AP ones....

according to them the battery was manufactured after 05W20 above. your battery might be imitation.

About chargers? I dont know why but somehow I am not concerned with chargers. Because fake batteries have the risk of exploding.

ahh.. okayokayy.. so that means that by using third-party chargers, it wun harm our phones or the batteries right?

Well, that's what I hope. Well, it's a matter of the guarantee that the originals provide you. So, if you want the assurance use ori one. The 3rd party one isn't quaranteed.

instead of fake batteries aplenty, a lot of people W800i casing itself is fake. damn cheap looking and plastic feel. bluek.

what for all exchange the original to fake ones?! to gain more profit?! didn't they get enough money when we bought the phone from them?!

i bought my W800i from SE Tech Center in KLCC, extra RM100 for peace of mind~ nothing is for sure, though. so beware.

We can't really blame anyone here. If I wanna blame also, I think i will look for the "geniuses" in mainland China.
