stupid? well they certainly can give a few surprises.

i've seen people being taken down by AIs.

on the other hand i've tested the AI and it seems that the more time you give them, they'll sometimes be overwhelmingly strong.

and yeah, T3 Nuke Missile will not work on AI. in fact it won't work on anyone as long as there's T3 missile defence.

the only way to advantage is to get the T3 missile first, if not then it's a real waste.

You can also build loads of nuke. If they only have 1 anti nuke, they can only last for 10 hit.

When I played a 2v2 with a friend against some supreme AI, we stopped after two tries since he just killed them off quick with quick rushes. I supply air support, while he loads on ferries and sends about 30-40 assault bots. Pretty effective.

computer having anti nukes? no worries, fire few or more at the same time.
i still remember in one of the UEF mission, i launch 3 nukes at the same time and the computer can only defend one of them, while the 2 nukes kill the commander in the island

yeah, but that's the thing. how many T3 nukes are you going to make la?

i might as well use the resources to spam T3 units / T4 x-units. smile.gif i think they're far more helpful overall.

or heck, use T3 artillery la.

yeah yeah i know - T3 nukes have no range limits.

i played vs supreme AI on a bigger map last night, still won easily. piece of cake.

for me i'm usually the one killing off 1 computer first. sometimes if i feel cheeky, i'll go for all their commanders first, boom goes the base. ahha.

then slowly whack the rest. of course when 3 vs 3, it's more like 2 vs 3 since my other buddy is not so skilled in RTS gaming.

Any 1 here tried playing the game on dual screens? I tried coz I want the tactical map on my small 20" monitor n the main game on the 30" monitor. Blardy frustrating, the game loads up, tactical map appears for a fraction of a second on the 20", main game on the 30" n then kablam! Game crashes. If I oni play single monitor on the 30" then no probs at all.

I still find the game with playable frame rate in the campaign mode at 1920x1200 with max settings and 2 x aa. Only lag notice is while those their a lot firing from the anti air while base is being attack heavily by air units. Also notice sometimes where the acu wont move even issue a command but at the same time other units will move normally. Havent touch the skirmish yet as still havent finish the campaign mode yet. Just in early stages of the aeon.

For me the hardest AI is BALANCED... Supreme AI is easy though...

To win AI easily is to destroy all their Mass Extractor... AI not good at building Mass Fabricator... IF you let AI control half of the Mass resources in the map, it will spam Experimental unit ...

AND does anyone know how to speed up sub-commander build?
Easy, you cannot assist it by just right clicking but you can click on assist key in the menu then left click on the building..

Works fine in my 7950 too with dual 19" (1024x1280). but i took out the 2nd monitor cause it's painful for me neck to switch between 2 screen.

ok usually u have to reload the game but i think u tried that

weir i am running 24inch and 20 for that game... perfect..
but again dont see y u need a second screen... u zoom out faster with the 30 inch since its so freaking big..
to know whether ure second screen ok
when u start the game in the menu option did u get the supreme commander wallpaper on the second screen??
also ure prob quite similar what i had..

first i used the native reso of the 20 to run..
changed the video options for both
and then reboot the game
and then start a campaign to make sure everything was fine
and then exited to menu
and then changed the primary monitor reso higher..

works like a charm

ai so easy to defeat..
start the game with one FACTORY air.. the best
build like 8 engineers quick
then use 4 pairs to build everything
2 pairs on power and mass
2 pairs on defence and shield
and command unit on upgrade of factory
i usually take aeon... fattboy rulezzz
then use the below setup on each mass...
also good idea to mix that setup with sone tech 2 cannons..
tech 3 cannons waste of time.. keke with the later 4 silos coming up..
once u reach tech 3.. time build an army of engineers
use ure tech 1 engineers and let them scout the map.

hahah nope it works for me

4 silos... 5 engineers on each...kekeke on assist
make sure u have loads of mass for this
then when all of them reach max 5 misselles.. even god cannot stop me..
use the group button for all the silos and fire away..
first 4 launch one will get true
second launch bye bye commander..
usually very easy to tell where the commander is.. he will be where the campaign started in the first place...
if ure being hard push then think of the missile as a storage.. so after u have 5 misselles on each silo keep building another silo.. with 5 engineers assist minimum
once u reach 4.. again even the gods cannot stop that



still the best defence.. almost unbeatable.... put a mass extractor then surround that with sam. then do a quad shield on each side.. and the 4 empty spaces put a fatt boy on each...... takes a lot to bring this combo down...
i LOVE FATT BOY...return of fire is so fast... range is superbly long...

I find the 2nd monitor not that useful. Maybe as this is the 1st game i play using 2.

Also due to need fast reaction, having 2 monitor is quite distracting actually, and fast changing view between 2 monitor really hurt the neck in 3 hours session laugh.gif

But i do use 2 monitor in home and in office.

YEah I find 2 monitors distracting too, like moving the cursor from 1 monitor to the other takes too long, and that makes me loose my game esp in a fast 1 v 1.
