anyone actually tried playing online via gpgnet so far? hows the connection when fighting against the US people over there?

the game itself not much pc can support it and play it properly, so u dont expect a bigger community than the other games. Tried playing it myself and have 400+ units + shield generators all over the place + maasive gunships firing also makes my pc performing like a snail

well the units are quite identical to each other but the their abilities and the strength is different. One example which i notice n like, is the cybran destroyers, which can walk on the land, making it a good long range nuker while the other 2 fraction are your plain destroyers. Cybran units tend to suck compared to UEF and Aeon but they still offer different way of playing them, for example, stealth.

Tried firing 5 nukes (who the hell needs this much anyway) at the same time b4, n yea it nearly tear my pc apart. The nuke animation sure takes a loooooooooong time to settle down n if u managed to nuke the commander with it, expect major lagginess, unless you are refering to nuking my own base to decrease the unit limit. But still can't beat SAM sites firing, Air superiority plane engaging with each other + gunships and bomber raining chaos from the skies + shields going on and off, that itself can almost make your pc run like a snail.

the ML's gun is damn powerful, that beam in particular. sheesh, once my commander didn't manage to escape. beam me up scotty!!

the colossus is totally helpless against air units. as for the ML, with 65k armor they could take down T1 bombers and T2 gunships (small quantity la) pretty easily.

i find it more devastating to send multiple T4 units. smile.gif imagine 1 ML with 2 beetle support. ouhhh..........

CZAR sux. ok it has nice firepower but with only 5k HP even 50 - 100 T1 interceptors (yeah you know how cheap and fast it is to produce them) takes the CZAR down in no time.

when playing against AI, they LOVE to spam T4 units. i've lost quite a few games because they caught me off guard (main reason is due to buddies being sux in defending).

the strange thing about AI is that they send the T4 units in, alone!! haha. IMO T4 units are great when you have T3 units supporting.

imagine T3 siege bots / AA accompanying the colossus or fatboy, it's nightmare.

computers are stupid ma, what to do. Is it me or that the computer seems to be able to build those t4 at a faster rate, even thou i can only see 1 engineer around, or its just me? Seems like everyone's fav experimental is still the ML eh?

computer having anti nukes? no worries, fire few or more at the same time.
i still remember in one of the UEF mission, i launch 3 nukes at the same time and the computer can only defend one of them, while the 2 nukes kill the commander in the island

finally got my copy of FA. Is it me or the the experimentals weapons now are being nerfed down badly?

galactic colossus hp from 120k to 99999, fatboy from 25k to 15k? the strategic nukes seems to takes forever to build as well compare to last time.

the new experimental weapons also kinda useless also
the new experimental weapon for UEF, what does it suppose to do anyway? cant see it firing anyone on the map also with its so call satelite lasers? aeon's one even better, takes 130 minutes to build it (by the time i build this i got more than enough resources to make a whole nation of t3 units)

the only thing worth while is still the Cybran's new "crab" thingy megabot, still think its a bit slow compare to the monkeylord

care to explain what the satellite suppose to do? not mention in the small piece of manual also, and didnt play the campaign mission to know what it does. build one so far and dont see it start shooting anyone.

still think the most useless experimental weapon is the new Aeon resource generator, until i get to know what does the satelitte control center does. Takes waaaaaaaaay too long to build even with 6 sub-comms on it + some t3 engineers.
